But now I’m putting it in the cats food along with my kids too. The flax is high quality and no no one is scratching and the kids skin and cats coat is glowing. The dog is jealous because he knows I bought it for him only. Oh well!

My 12 year old schnauzer has had a myriad of health problems over the years and started to go down hill. We started using this with some bone broth for dogs and I feel like she has so much more energy and just seems over all in better spirits. I’m sold and will continue to use this for her

After seeing all the wonderful reviews/stories on this product with my small 15 Lbs Teddy Bear dog having bad allergies I thought it couldn’t hurt to try but was I mistaken! This product ended up doing more harm than good (Not that it did any good at all).To start off this product is coarse and has a sandlike texture even when mixed with Dinovite Licko Chops, my dog was extremely hesitant at first but eventually ate it and then the problems began!!First was the excessive urination for the first few days then the vomiting/diarrhea started at which point I stopped the product. Needless to say it didn’t help at all. Now my dog refuses to eat any sort of dry kibble unless it’s coated with some sort of broth !!!!It also has a very short expiration time frame, mine was 5 months from purchase date. Stay away from this!!!!Cons:1) Horrible side effects2) Pricey3) Not very appetizing, Grainy texture4) Very short expiration date

We have a 7 year old German Shepherd Dog. He's been generally healthy, but a little bit on the itchy side and prone to diarrhea. About six months ago, something went very wrong with him and he lost most of his fur over the course of about 3 days and was severely itchy, to the point of having sores all over his body and not sleeping at night. The skin in his ears was bright red and inflamed. On most of his body, his skin was visible through the thin layer of fur that remained. He wasn't eating. He was just completely miserable and we were scared to death.Unfortunately, it was the height of COVID lockdown but we got him into his vet within a week. His vet didn't know what was wrong with him. She checked for fungi, mites, and bacteria. Once the tests came back, all were negative. She said it may be an allergy to something in the environment or it may be a food allergy.In the meantime I ordered a big box of Dinovite, having heard the commercials on the radio and being desperate. He didn't care for the taste at first, but we managed to get him to eat with his food by hand feeding him for a couple nights. (he eats if on his own now).Within about 2 weeks, his itching subsided. His fur completely grew back over the course of 2 or 3 months. His skin is no longer inflamed and is his normal pink color. His sores healed. His loose stools are even gone. I wish I had a before picture, but I've attached an after picture of Bingo during a break in a run -- completely happy and healthy again.I'll update this review if anything changes, but for now we are extremely happy and grateful for what Dinovite has done for our big guy. I know Dinovite isn't the cure-all for all dog skin ailments, but when it works, it really works!Update 11OCT2021After supplementing our German Shepherd's food with the recommended amount for Dinovite every day for over a year, the condition of his skin and fur started to deteriorate again in the same way described in my original review... very itchy everywhere and losing most of his undercoat.We took him to a new vet who diagnosed him with an allergy, possibly to the mites that all dogs carry to some degree or to some external allergen in the environment. He prescribed a course of medication and almost a month into it, Bingo is looking great and, most importantly, itch free and happy.We've quit using Dinovite for the last couple of months. In no way to I believe Dinovite caused any harm to out dog. At the same time, I don't believe it actually helped. We just happened to start using in an upswing of or dog's cyclic/seasonal condition and we jumped on it as a ray of hope. I think it is probably a fine supplement, but I don't believe it provides any miraculous benefit or nutrition that is otherwise lacking in a dogs diet.

Works better than advertised. My 80 pound chocolate lab takes this twice daily with food. His coat is beautiful, and his temperament is much happier.
