Right out of the box, the composite cover has a really nice feel—not too slick, not too sticky—and it handles well even on outdoor courts. We mostly play on asphalt and concrete, and this ball holds up really well to street play without wearing down quickly.The bounce is super consistent, and the weight feels true to regulation. We’ve used some cheaper balls that feel hollow or too rubbery—this one is in a different league. You can tell Wilson knows what they're doing. It feels like a ball you’d see in a pickup game or school gym, but built to last outdoors.I also love that it comes in all three sizes. It makes it easy to get the right ball for different ages/skill levels, and we don’t have to argue about “whose ball is better” anymore (huge win for any parent).If you’re looking for a reliable, well-made outdoor basketball that doesn’t break the bank, this is a no-brainer. The basketball came already inflated. It holds its air. For the price it is a good ball, but don't expect an indoor NBA, NCAA type ball. But it is heavy enough to shoot around outside. It bounces just fine. I would buy again.
