What a guitar! I love the weight and the belly cut. Sure beats using a HH strat lol.Couldn’t fine the color I wanted locally or online. The metallic black was only on Bolo at the time of this review.I was skeptical about buying an Epiphone sight unseen, because I have heard of QC issues. But boy was I wrong. This Muse JBM (Jet Black Metallic) is gorgeous in every way!Amazing vendor. The Muse came early and undamaged (I looked over every inch of the Muse with a fine toothed comb) and it’s set up perfectly, all I had to do was tune it.If you’re looking for an modern Les Paul, but don’t want to break the bank, this baby is the “One”.

the seller, Guitar Craftory, shipped it super fast!!! faster than what Bolo said it would ship. i want to learn how to play guitar and this is my first electric guitar because why not??? i was told it would be easier learning on electric than acoustic. the color blue is beautiful. thanks GC for getting this to me fast and packing it in a 2nd box to protect it.

It went back. Fret issues, nut problems, plays poorly, dragging strings... Then, they sent a replacement. The second time around wasn't much better but I returned it as well.Whoever set this up must have been using the force. They sure didn't have their eyes open.High low frets. I used a fret rocker and had to seat nearly half of the frets.Truss rod adjustmentBridge height adjustmentIntonation was way off. Strobe tuned.After 2 luthiers and my own effort (I've been wrenching guitars for 35 years) The replacement had the same issues. Big hump where the neck sets in the body. No way to null it out. Tried a nut, truss rod, and bridge, always strings dragging across the frets somewhere. At the nut, at the bridge. Junk made in China just like most everything on Bolo. It's a shame.

Good guitar for the price
I bought this guitar at a good price from Bolo, the initial piece was a dud with sharp fret edges and a heavily cracked neck, returned it within the product return window, and received a replacement piece. Here is my review of the replacement piece:Pros:Good guitar for the price (I received a good deal)Great bodyweightBelly carve really helpsThe neck profile is comfortable and is in between, suitable for people with large/small handsGrover tunersProper maple cap at this price pointTreble bleedDecent hardwareGood versatility with coil split and out-of-phase switching options.Cons: (as I see it)Pickups are slightly hotter and lack clarity (needs a replacement for quality sounds), the first piece I received had a great sound.. so pickups aren't consistent, though they have ALNICO pros on both guitars.Speed knobs aren't properly placed (in my case full turn ends up at 12 and starts at 2) - easy fix.The nut needs an improvement.This is a great guitar for an intermediate player who's looking out to buy a not-so-cheap and well-built les paul. I would recommend this guitar.

Stunning in every way. Fit and finish is perfect
Sustain for days, so much variety in tone and a lovely low action with no fret buzz Right out of the box. All the binding etc is perfect, the beautiful inlays are all square and true and the frets polished.Strings were rubbish but always are on new guitars.
