Well, the time has come to say goodbye to Fitbit. I was hoping the Google acquisition would make their buggy products better. Wrong. Google keeps tearing apart the best part of Fitbit: its unique features and the user interface/platform. Now Fitbit is coming to an end by 2025, I'm replacing everything with Apple Health.I was quite content with the Fitbit Aria and didn't know the smart scales had gotten cheaper! After searching for a while, the aesthetic and additional health analytics, I settled with this one. It's quite an impressive amount of stats this scale pulls, I know it's just a different variation of BMT analysis but still :)Are they legit? That may be a different story. For entertainment or inspiration purposes, I'm enjoying additional data. They tell you if your stats are above the normal range showing numbers in yellow or red depending on how off they are. Yikes but helpful.The app is intuitive and quick to set up. It's better than Aria. If you are on the fence, give it a try.

Haven't gotten into the Health app or phone syncing aspect of it too much yet. But I'm sure it will work fine as my other Renfro products do with the Renpho app. As far as the accuracy goes, I have a compared to any of the other scales that I have but I'm sure That it will be just great. I like the different measurements that you can take with the scale instead of "just your weight". It's a little awkward at first stepping onto a glass scale but eventually you get used to it. I'm hoping it will show me results that will motivate me to keep going on with my workouts. Results are always a good motivator in this should tell me how I'm doing.

This scale and app worked very well via Bluetooth. Not so much for the wifi which is why I bought the scale. Each time I tried to connect to wifi, the connection failed. Fortunately, I received a quick and thorough answer from the Renpho customer service and the instructions worked! I want to include those details below for those of you who are also having wifi connection issues. The notes below are adapted from the email from Renpho.Requirements before starting:- Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4ghz SSID (your wifi network ID) not 5ghz (5 is not supported)- Make sure the scale is connected to Bluetooth1. Try to pair wifi, enter a wrong password and after the app displays "Failed to repair Wifi", go to "Device Management", swipe the model number of the scale(with the wifi icon) to the left then delete the scale2. Turn on the Bluetooth, GPS, and wifi of your phone, go to "Device Management" to add your scale to your app account, and sync one measurement to your app account (i.e weigh yourself).3. Again, make sure the Bluetooth, GPS, and wifi of your phone is on and go to "Device Management", tap the model number of the scale, and enter the correct password, tap "CONFIRM". After the app displays "Step on", press one foot on the scale to wake up the scale(don't use both of your feet to step on and don't weight yourself, just make sure the scale is wakened up while pairing) and wait for the completion of pairing4. If it pairs successfully, steps on the scale to take a measurement(until the scale shuts off automatically- let the entire process complete and it finishes by displaying "OPEN APP") and check if the measurement syncs to your app account successfully5. After the above was done successfully, turn off your Bluetooth, step on the scale to take a measurement(until the scale shuts off automatically), and check if the measurement sync to your app account successfully.6. You can turn your Bluetooth back on now and the scale will utilize the wifi.Notes from Renpho:1.When you use the wifi scale for the first time, you need to pair the scale with your phone via Bluetooth first. After you sync one measurement to your app account via Bluetooth successfully, you can pair the scale with your phone via wifi.2.IOS 13 and the above version require Bluetooth permissions. IOS 14 and the above version require "Precise Location" to be turned on. For Android, you need to turn on the GPS to sync with the scale. Please make sure the Bluetooth permission/Precise Location/GPS/Bluetooth is turned on when your pair wifi for the first time.3. Again, it works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi but does not support 5G Wi-Fi.4.After you pair wifi successfully, the stored data(when you measure without your phone) can sync to your app account automatically if your phone is connected with the network(phone network or wifi). If the app recognizes the user automatically, the stored data will be assigned to the corresponding user's profile; if the app cannot recognize the user, the app will prompt "unknown measurements" and you can assign the measurements to the correct user. The scale itself can store 10 measurements.

At the low price point for this scale, I was a little skeptical about the Wifi connection working since I previously returned a different brand smart scale due to connectivity issues. The Renpho app was very easy to set up and connect to my wifi. When I weigh in without my phone, the app alerts me that there is saved data and gives me the choice to save it to my history. I appreciate this option as it helps prevent erroneous readings when others in the household use the same scale. The scale itself is small and lightweight, and in white it looks very pretty on our beige marble floor.

I do not believe this scale measures body fat at all. I think it’s a scam. I think they have some arbitrary formula that takes into account, your weight and your height and just plugs in a fat percentage and the other readings.Why do I say that? I’ve taken measurements months apart even after lifting heavy and or fasting whenever I’m at a certain weight, it kicks out the same exact numbers every time to the 10th.That seems virtually impossible that there would be absolutely zero change in body, fat and or fat percentages.Bogus!!!

The smaller size is a little too small if you're of the size you need to weigh yourself daily anyway (You need to see over the belly!).Measures great, syncs to the cloud, and can manage multiple profiles to measure the whole family. Tracks body % etc and is very useful.

Está diseñada para usarse con su App, la cual no es la más intuitiva pero no está mal. Las funciones de graficas y de comparación entre días son útiles, tiene sonidos para incentivarte cuando logras una meta o advertirte que no te fue bien (opcional).En cuanto a la báscula es bonita, se ve de buena calidad, números grandes y en pantalla brillante para fácil lectura si quisieras sólo verlo en la báscula, aunque la utilidad verdadera está en usarla con su App.Tengo un par de meses usándola y puedo decir que hasta ahora me ha parecido confiable, muy fácil de usar y útil para entender resultados. Creo que por el precio es una buena compra.
