I enjoy using a leaf blower to keep my porch tidy. In the past, I had a Black and Decker model that worked well, but dealing with a cumbersome extension cord was a constant hassle. The cord always getting in the way, causing me to trip over it, and getting disconnected was so frustrating. This new leaf blower is a perfect solution for me, especially since my husband already owns a plethora of Dewalt batteries! Highly recommend it.

I love this unit! It is really powerful and gets excellent life from the battery. I use it in summer for yard clean up and in winter to blow light snow off the footpaths. My old unit was also a DeWalt 40V model and as heavy as you can find - it left me wanting more. See side by side photos - bigger is not better! They finally seem to have figured out how to make a powerful lightweight unit with this model. Spend the extra - it's worth it.

Man was I excited when this got delivered! I like to use a leaf blower to clean my porch. I had gotten a black and decker one a few years ago which worked great but it was such a pain to use a big extension cord. Dragging it around, tripping on it and having the cord come out was annoying. I ordered this one which is perfect cause my husband has a million dewalt batteries!

This is a great tool , I have the bigger battery , blow leaves away from house without dragging an electric cord around.clean out your gutters as long as it has not rained for a couple days, ( be careful on that roof or ladder) only problem I have had with it is my wife knows how to work it, so there’s that.I have had mine for over a year still works great .

Works great for cleaning shop and garage. Battery life is not great but good enough for my cleaning projects. If I was going to blow leaves for a couple hours would probably need to go with a gas or corded blower.

Lightweight & quiet
It is very light and compact. The trigger is easily held in place to maintain windspeed but also has variable trigger lock. I only have a few large trees so the battery life is plenty for my needs. I would highly recommend a large battery as well if you’re considering using it in a commercial setting.
