I bought these on March 30, 2025, it isn’t three months yet and the pepper shaker Center part just broke off and fell into my plate and dumped a bunch of pepper balls onto my salad, after reading these reviews now I’m saying this is a big-time problem with this particular brand or model I reached out to customer service today. We’ll see how soon or if they respond. If not, I will call Bolo and hopefully they can rectify the situation. I love it when they work, but if they’re breaking after less than three months, I would not encourage you to buy these particular ones.

Works like a charm! These are very attractive and work very well. The grind mechanism produces a nice size grain which is easily switched from coarse to fine, depending upon your preference. The blue light, far from being just a gimmick, really does help illuminate what is being seasoned. They do require a lot of batteries, 6 each, but so far they don't seem to be "battery hogs" and are still grinding away! Very happy with them.

I ordered these based on the overall positive reviews and the sale price of $18.99. Each unit takes 6 AAA batteries which adds to the cost but since I love to use freshly ground salt and pepper when cooking these were the ideal solution to the issue of needing two hands every time I wanted to add salt or pepper to my food while cooking. I love the ease of adjusting the coarseness or fineness of the salt/pepper and by only needing 1 hand I can continue stirring while I am seasoning/tasting. I was quite surprised at how quickly these grinders dispense the desired spice by simply tipping them upside down. The one consistent issue I have with the hand grind pepper mills is trying to get a fine grind. These were so simple to adjust so that I get the perfect grind each time I use them. The size of the grinders fits comfortably in the hand. They are somewhat top heavy but the acrylic bases are sturdy and do not add unnecessary weight to an already hefty upper half making them user-friendly - dare I say fun to use and a conversation starter as well. From table to stove to counter top these are versatile grinders perfect for cooking, baking, and seasoning at the table.

The set is easy to use and has a nice appearance. The only problem I had was if one fell over on its side, the salt came out as well. I did notice a slight clogging but it may have been the type of salt used.

Love these Salt & Pepper Shakers!! You just hold them over whatever your putting salt or pepper on and it just streams out at a slow pace.They work great!

These automatic salt and pepper grinders are absolutely fantastic. Just insert 6 AAA batteries into each grinder before loading them with salt and pepper (I use Pink Himalayan salt and whole peppercorns). Simply turn them upside down over your salad or food and they automatically and quickly grind into your meal. Easy peasy. There is no adjustment capability however and the salt and pepper grind small which is fine for me. So easy to refill. The black color is pretty universal for any tabletop decor. I found out about them via Consumer Reports who raved about them. They were RIGHT!

We were gifted these a few years ago and wanted to buy them for the parents as a gift. The battery life is very durable, it’s so easy to use and you can adjust the thickness of the salt or pepper coming out. It looks great so you don’t have to hide them away

These work fine, but aren't as sturdy or large as my other set. I have a set I really love, and wanted to buy a second set for different pepper varieties. But that set is not available, sadly, so I looked around and bought this set. It's smaller, therefore holds less, is acrylic instead of glass and seems not to be built as well. But, I won't be using the pepper inside these as often as I use the other as they're both a more specialized variety for specific recipes. So, even though these were 30% more expensive than the first set, they'll do the job. The adjustment knob on top is a bit finicky and also has a little play in them that I don't like, but they will grind coarse to fine, so it's okay, as long as the adjustment knobs continue to function.I do like the rechargeable aspect, and the gravity dispense; I only looked at that type as I previously went through multiple sets of manual grinders, and also push button grinders that dispensed from the bottom. I hated both types as the first required the use of two empty hands, which is not always easy when in the middle of cooking, and the bottom dispense types left a mess behind no matter where I set them down, which was a deal-breaker. So. a gravity style is the only type I consider anymore.But, truthfully, if my preferred set becomes available again, this set will be given away and I'll buy the set I originally wanted. If this set's quality was a little better, I'd be totally happy, but, for now, it'll do. I can't speak to the longevity as I've only had the set a short time, but if a problem arises, I'll update this review.

Un must'have !
Pas de doute, maintenant que je les ai, je ne pourrais plus m'en passer. Ils fonctionnent à merveille et se mettent en marche au doigt et à l'œil. La petit lumière bleue permet de voir ce qu'on fait mais ça reste un gadget. Il ne faudra pas non plus mettre des grains trop gros de sel ou de poivre (au choix) car les moulins ne vont pas en faire des grains très fins mais sinon c'est génial. Seul bémol, 6 piles AAA pour chaque appareil... Espérons qu'elles durent longtemps...

One of them stopped working after 2 days for no apparent reason. Even after changing brand new batteries.

Diese Mühlen sind wirklich schick. Sie sind einfach in der Handhabung, lassen sich leicht auffüllen und gut reinigen.Wer Batterien sparen will sollte Akkus benutzen. Ansonsten halten Durazell Batterien am längsten.
