This is supposed to be a darkfighter version, which is supposed to do better in low light. The turret version is not marketed as darkfighter, so perhaps the sensors are different even though the specs and models are very similar.The IR seems like it illuminates more evenly and further with this design. I saw review of this camera and I thought the samples I saw were just in better illuminated areas, but compared to the dome camera it replaced the IR is much better.I'm currently using this with a Synology NAS as a recorder and it's been working fine with 2x 4k Hikvision cameras. These also work fine with Blue Iris, which I was testing before I decided to finally get a dedicated NVR. I will be placing these on a Hikvision NVR as soon as it arrives since that's just simpler to maintain.I've been working with Hikvision recorders and cameras for some time and setup was a breeze for me. These have gotten much more user friendly and consistent compared to a few years ago when activation with NVR's could be troublesome. If this is your first time working with Hikvision, just remember to use SADP tools to activate the camera before you add it to your recording software.If you happen to use these with SD cards, it will work fine but your SD card will wear out, likely within a year unless it's a high endurance SD card is used.I know Hikvision has gotten a bad name due to security concerns but I haven't seen it generate any questionable traffic so far so I don't share with those concerns.

DO NOT BUY!!!I purchased 4 of these cameras. 2 failed, I contacted hikvision support and they are telling me these are grey market cameras and they do not sell on Bolo. Beware and Avoid!

Best 4k camera. Big camera but I like that. Because if they see the camera then it is already worth it. A Deterance..Easy to use ONVIF. Awesome pic. Great night vision.I like the 2.8mm wide angle. More bang for the buck.It is discontinued by Hikvision but have never had an issue. More than 30 bought!

I like the camera because it is a great upgrade over my old one. It has excellent night vision but it is rather combersome to set up. The customer support is ok but for some reason at nighttime the camera will reboot.

They worked on wi-fi for a week then nothing. These are the worst. Company is impossible to reach and tech is, meh, at best. Totally dumping, taking the loss on all five cameras. The video recorder is loud and runs super hot. I had to install an extra fan in the console to keep it cool.Anything is better than this crap.

The seller said this camera is wireless. When I received it it was Ethernet cable only. The seller said this camera has voice recording capability. When I received it the camera voice recording is not supported and there is no internal microphone with the device. I am returning it because these two options are required for the install.
