5.0 out of 5 stars Great
These are just what I have been looking for, we use these daily and they are smooth and make taking shots a lot easier.
5.0 out of 5 stars By these not at local pharmacies… these don’t break like those cheap ones the pharmacies sell
Better than what you get at any local pharmacy and I mean as far as I know CVS and Rite Aid
4.0 out of 5 stars Can’t complain too much given the price point on these
I’ve purchased these a few times before for an elderly family friend who takes insulin. Frankly it’s just cheaper to order online than pick up at the pharmacy - and much less hassle (especially during winter months in the northeast). But I will say that this brand isn’t as good as the top brand at the pharmacy (I could just be remembering wrong, but I believe that once when reviewing a different product on Bolo, I had mentioned the name of the brand I was comparing to and if I’m not mistaken it led to them not publishing my review? But if you buy regularly at any pharmacy, you know the brand I’m referring to). - sometimes these come with a tiny barb already on the tip - before it touches anything - ANYTHING. Pull the cap off and lightly feel the tip and you’ll feel it - sometimes. Not all are like that. I’d say about a quarter of them are like that. The other thing is I have noticed that some of the metal tips are stronger than others. No idea how that can be because I’m not just talking about differences between this box and the next, or even from one ten pack bag to the next, I mean differences even within the same ten pack bag. Push gently on the metal tip and you’ll find that some bend a little while others stay strong and straight. This of course means the more bendable tips will likely barb easier as well and seem just all around slightly thinner. But even more confusing - I haven’t ordered these for him in about 5 months maybe, and looking at the reviews this time around, I’ve noticed people posting pics and writing about a brand called “Easy Glide” instead of Easy Touch. I don’t know if this is perhaps just part of a brand name change and Easy Touch is just changing the name of their brand all together and we’re just seeing the beginning of the replacement process, or if it’s one of those situations where Bolo was out of that size in the Easy Touch brand and so a substitute brand was sent instead to fulfill the order. Either way, I would be upset if it had happened to me too because especially with a product like this - brand matters. I’m also inclined to believe that Easy Glide is just a different brand that was sent to these customers because according to the other reviews that claimed to get that product instead, it’s an entirely different syringe altogether, with much different characteristics. I didn’t receive that brand, I received the same Easy Touch branded ones I have in the past but when I brought this to my insulin dependent friends attention, he was highly concerned that some other brand would show up instead and was quite worried they may not work for him.As I said Easy Touch has some minor issues but they remain his second go to brand (first being the top brand you see in all pharmacies). And given the price point on these and the ease of ordering on Bolo, I gave four stars. But if someone from Bolo knows why folks are getting a completely different syringe by some other brand name, and happens to be reading this review, everyone who orders these would thank you if you could alert the proper channels to have this issue corrected. Thanks
