I bought several kinds of non-Canon printer ink, that claimed to be compatible with my Canon printer. They weren't. They fit okay, more or less, but they leaked, left streaks, and generally were a mess. I sucked it up and bought the actual Canon brand, which of course are more expensive, but they work. Installing the new ones immediately cleaned up my printer, no more streaks or leaks or anything. It'd be great if a cheaper knockoff worked, but for this situation, you gotta go with the real thing.

I wanted to try a branded ink and compared it to the 3rd party ink that I've been using. Canon goes on and on about the quality of their Ink to 3rd party inks, but I could see no difference in print time or print quality between the two. This is over 4X the price of 3rd party inks and I could see no difference in print quality or time. Honestly, stay away.

I am giving up. The supposedly Genuine O54H Four Color Toner Cartridges are not printing any color, and leaving images slightly grey, and one can't decipher what is the image. It's mostly white space. I purchased the huge Canon Color printer last July 2023, but took it out if the box in January 2024. The toner cartridges that came in the box were wonderful and vibrant. Since then, all I am getting is black color, and the black fonts on pPer, look as if they are grey-black.I am simply wasting paper. I wish I could send the printer back. However, I was loyal to Canon, because I had a Monochrome that worked like a charm. Until it started smearing all of my pages within one year of purchasing it. At present, I am getting behind in printing tasks for my wedding planning business. It sucks, and it's very frustrating tospend lots of money on a product that doesn't work as it should. Now I must purchase another printer. I will return these $269 Cartridges and purchase an Ink jet. Lasers are not what they once were, and the price of all laser toner cartridges now are simply ridiculous. Some cost as much as the printer in some cases. I am very disappointed with my four toner cartridges purchase.
