The action/motion of the cutting angle is great and they have not rusted. The only issue is the tip of the scissors was not caped with plastic when shipped and ended up coming out of the packaging. A safety issue that my local postmaster notified me of. So be careful reaching into your mailbox when you have ordered these so you are not jabbed.

Simple pair of snips, nice and long, blades align properly and work fine for cutting aquarium plants without getting your hands wet.

I love these scissors for aquascaping! They are well made and sharp. The length makes it so that I can reach to the bottom of my 20g aquarium with ease. If you keep planted fish aquariums you need this.

These are extra long scissors and they can snip aquatic plants nicely. They are heavy and feel sturdy enough. They do not feel great in your hands when you're working with them like a pair of much more expensive aquascaping scissors from UNS or GLA or ADA. But as far as I can see none of those companies make a pair of scissors this long (18"). I have a beautiful pair of GLA scissors that are 14" long and there is no comparison. They are lighter, better balanced, and much more precisely made. But again, the GLA are 4" shorter than this pair and way more expensive. At this price I am very satisfied with this purchase and these scissors definitely have their place in my tool kit despite the drawbacks I mentioned above.

Unfortunately it's very uncomfortable using it after a little time starts to hurt my fingers. I have a 36gal tank with plants I have to trim every week. It's not a pleasant experience at all. They should soften and enlarge the handles to improve it.

Grate for yr really deep aquariums could have been just a little bit more sturdier but for as long as they are they're probably wouldn't no way to make them any sturdier than what they was. But if you have a small tank that's not deeper than your finger to your elbow, there is no need for this item. This is for your fish keepers that have really big tanks like for a flowerhorn and you really can't get into it without your fish. Trying to get a hold of you or buy to you or something. Super good for things like this

These worked well for great for trimming inside our terrarium. We use them for keeping plants in check, taking stem cuttings or leaf cuttings for propagating the plants without disturbing nearby plants in the process. Also used for same thing in the aquariums. Worked well.

These are extra long scissors and they can snip aquatic plants nicely. They are heavy and feel sturdy enough. They do not feel great in your hands when you're working with them like a pair of much more expensive aquascaping scissors from UNS or GLA or ADA. But as far as I can see none of those companies make a pair of scissors this long (18"). I have a beautiful pair of GLA scissors that are 14" long and there is no comparison. They are lighter, better balanced, and much more precisely made. But again, the GLA are 4" shorter than this pair and way more expensive.
