My favorite thing about this axe is that it keeps a sharp edge with little effort. (Smith’s Axe & Machete pull through sharpener is all I use on the axe - sharpening puck for the splitter.)I don’t use the splitter much; actually bought it by mistake, but it serves its purpose. For the cost it was definitely worth keeping in my shop.I use the axe all the time, mostly for splitting, store-bought wood bundles. The weight is perfect for me, it’s easy to swing and makes quick work of a wood bundle. It will split a big log and break it down into kindling. Before putting it away, I wipe it down, pull it through the sharpener 10 times in each direction, brush off the burrs, and it’s ready to go next time.I was skeptical of the handle. I originally wanted wood, but like I said, I bought the splitter by accident and liked the quality, but needed an axe. I live in the desert and this past summer it was 115° for too many days to remember. I won’t leave it out in the summer sun, but it otherwise has held up beyond my expectations.My only complaint is this: the edge guard that comes with it sucks. It was warped when I got it and it was lost soon after arrival. Not at all a big deal and barely worth mentioning, but nothings’s perfect, so it should be noted.I love this axe, use it all the time, going to buy another and think I’ll give a couple as gifts. Great tool, great quality, excellent value. And it keeps an edge!

I like the axe, especially with the built in splitting wedge.. it's seems to be pretty solid. People say it's not that really sharp. We'll it's not.. and thats ok.. just gave it a quick sharpen.. and you'll be happy..

Only giving this 4 stars until its properly used. I have yet to actually use this hatchet. I do alot of tent camping and needed a hatchet for splitting fire wood, this will be tested out in mid August. From first appearance it seems sturdy, its size is what I needed, I like that it came with a rubber cover and a hard cover for the blade. This is purely cosmetic but I don't like all of the stickers that are difficult to take off. Other then that, it looks and seems like a good hatchet! I just have yet to use it.

Wrap your fingers around the cushioned handle of this hatchets and as you lift it you'll feel it's heftiness. Remove both of the protective blade covers and you can test the tools sharpness - be careful!

i enjoy the green color, mine came with some blemishes looking like it was used, it is the perfect size heave enough for a short person as myself, if it were any heavier i.d probably would roll down the hill with haha, nice and steardy , it gets the job done well , i also like useing mine like a dumbell good exercise lol.
Good Axe, Lousy shipping through Intelcom
The axe is great, splits as it should but sure wish Bolo would drop Intelcom as a delivery company. Consistently late by hours, and today they pulled up and didn't even have my parcel. Drove away and came back with it after 20-30 mins.

Es mi primera hacha por lo que quise probar de este estilo para hacer camping amateur es de buen manejo así mismo no trae la funda verde de plástico que se ve en la foto inicial solo viene con una goma que protege el filo de fabrica.A mi gusto el filo de Fábrica es bueno sin embargo se puede mejorar mucho más para fines prácticos y de bushcraft. Sugiero comprar una funda aquí mismo en Bolo de poliéster para cubrir su filo y se vea como la ultimas fotos (la funda de nylon la compré aparte) no viene incluida
