I started out with 1 tablet but water got cloudy after a week. Based on tablet per X gallon, i should be OK. So, i changed new water and use 3 tablets instead of 1. My pool now crystal clear for 4 weeks so far... I refill 1 tablet every 2 days to able to keep my pool always in clear condition. Hope that helps

My house came with a bromine hot tub that molded along & on the cover and head rests. I was always having to pull it out and scrub & the chemicals were always a mess (even without use). After replacing the water (& rinsing well), I switch to these tablets & never looked back. No mold! Even the mold on the cover I couldn't get off started to go away. (& no, the chlorine isn't showing high on the test strips) 1 tablet lasts 2-3 weeks for mine. I occasionally need to add baking soda, but the ph is always spot on. Never switching back.This chlorine is the perfect small spa tablet size.

I crush one of these up and put it in filter housing around randomweave (20um nom.) filter. Keeps Fe-bacteria from developing in downstream fixtures. No taste issues.
