These are an excellent choice. Top notch product. You can make old fashioneds, ice cream topping, smoothies or dark chocolate ganache cake and top with whipped cream, and these cherries with a sprinkle of chocolate shavings. You're even allowed to eat them straight out of the jar! It's an excellent price at 17.99 for this extra special treat. Do it! You deserve it.

I don't often write reviews but I decided to on this product. The cherries appear to be what is claimed, flavor is good. The problem I have is many (roughly about 50% of the cherries seem to be partially mascerated (I assume from the pitting process??). This might not be a problem if they are used in cooking, but in cocktails it is a different story! Definitely disappointed in this brand of Amarena cherries.

Slightly more candied than Fabbri, less cloyingly sweet than Toschi, not as difficult to find in stock as TraderJoe’s Amarenas, more supple in the manner of a crisp bite of fresh fruit than all of the above. Fabbri, while possibly the most balanced flavor-wise of these Amarenas are all too often mushy. My evening cocktail is either a dry gin martini or a rye Manhattan. For my Manhattans (3:1 rye:vermouth) I add a teaspoon of Amarena syrup. Rex’s syrup is excellent. The fruit snap when I’m done makes the whiskey-flavored cherry a treat on exit. For the price-point it’s certainly the best Amarena, if not the best at any price point. A true bargain garnish for those who care exceedingly about crafting a satisfying evening cocktail.I intentionally omitted Luxardo and Tillen Farms, etc. They are maraschinos (marasca cherries) if that’s what you prefer. Tillen Farm’s Bada Bing cherries are also good, in a different class, and leaning towards the tartness of an Amarena. Nevertheless, I do find find these a tad too sweet for my Manhattans.
