I have used steel blades in the past and for me they just don’t last very long. I am mostly cutting cardstock, usually 65 to 110 pound. I tried these titanium blades when I had to get a new paper cutter and noticed a big difference between those and the steel blades the cutter came with. Even when I think I will need to change the blade it’s still cutting cleanly.To me it’s definitely worth the slightly higher price because I do a lot of paper cutting and constantly having to change the blade adds up quickly.

I usually just grab blade at the craft store but was sick so ordered them online! WOW!! VERY happy I did! I do not know why buy these blades.cut through multiple layers of sublimation paper better than any other blades I've ever use! So WILL DEF ORDER.THESE AGAIN!

I have used many different paper cutters and blades, and these Fiskars titanium blades last longer than the "regular," steel blades. I cut a lot of thicker papers, including 140 lb watercolor paper, and these take much longer to become dull.

For years I've been using the standard (non-titanium) cutting blade, which did an ok job but didn't last all that long. These titanium blades are super sharp, and after weeks of use are still as sharp as the day I received them. Highly recommended.

Overtime, after few cuts/uses, the blades becomes dull and you need to replace them again.

Staying sharp

I am doing some photo editing, and find after cutting through quite a few it starts to chatter the edges. It would appear the photos have a type of plastic coating the blade doesn’t like.The blades last much longer with ordinary paper.I love mine and wouldn’t trade for another.
