I wish they had a slightly lower caffeine version that did not cut back on the other ingredients as well.

First of all people keep complaining about the itchy and or tingling feeling you get. It has BETA- Alanine in it. Beta-alanine works by combining with histamine to create carnosine, a molecule that's stored in your muscles and brain tissue. Carnosine buffers the decline in muscle pH, which can result in greater muscle elasticity. Beta alanine causes a tingling sensation, often referred to as "paresthesia", because it activates specific nerve endings in the skin by interacting with certain receptors, essentially triggering a signal that is perceived as a tingling feeling; this occurs when the body ingests a high dose of beta alanine, which is often found in pre-workout supplements, and is generally considered a harmless side effect. So if your pre workout has this in it, you may get the feeling of itching or tingling. I happen to like the feeling because it lets me know that it’s time to start working out. After I really get my heart rate up and lifting, it goes away for me. I only take a half a dose and it works great for me but I’m also not a caffeine fanatic.

This is my alternative to a coffee drink in the evening before a work out. Has a good kick and I don’t use the full scoop. It mixes very well with water and taste good and easy to take down.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for the advanced pre-workout since I just brought up this awesome product in my 1-star review of Gorilla Mode. You see, I've been using Optimum Nutrition products for a few years and I recently began using the advanced pre-workout which has done wonders for me; I really believe a good pre-workout can help you during intense workouts. Well, for some reason (stupid me!) I decided to try Gorilla Mode. I paid the $55 (40 servings) and I'm regretting it after only 3 days of drinking this stuff! I'm not going to spend this review talking about what I didn't like about that product, but I want to share what's great about this one. First, the ingredients! Not only do I feel the pump during and after my workouts, I'm also very focused and hyped about pushing my limits. I also enjoy the Beta-alanine because once I feel the tingling, I know it's working. Second, the tastes are great; my only complaint is you have to really shake to make sure there aren't any clumps. But even the clumps taste like candy.

I am lucky that the product is in date... But it only have 3 months left on it .. it so close to expiry that it might not be that effective plus I can't wait until my current one finishes because this one expires before the one I am using right now... Have the decency to sell it at half the price or even less or don't sell about to expire products at all...
