I purchased this supplement as it was recommended by a friend who is experiencing the same aches and pains in her bones as I have. Wow! What a difference...I am feeling less aches since taking this supplement. The doses are easy on the pocketbook too. Definitely will be re-ordering when I need more.

I didnt particularly notice a difference. Things that were sore werent magically not sore. but I assume it didnt hurt anything either. no after taste. no weird burps. I like the studies behind ginger and tumeric so I would buy again.

I have been taking this supplement for several months now and plan to continue. As I grow older, my joints tend to be achy at times, but it was bearable. However, I had been having some issues with elbow and shoulder pain that prevented me from exercising, and the pain was progressively getting worse. My pain was beginning to impact basic activities, like lifting things like pots and pans. Arthritis runs in my family, so I started looking into ways I could modify my diet to help reduce inflammation (note: I already have a fairly healthy diet). I stumbled across the benefits of turmeric while reading about anti-inflammatory foods, but then realized I probably couldn't incorporate enough of the spice into my meals to notice a difference. I thought I would give this particular supplement a try because I had also read that black pepper could enable absorption of curcumin, the compound in turmeric with anti-inflammatory properties.To be honest, I didn't really believe this supplement was going to do anything for me, but I wanted to rule out natural options before seeking medication for the rest of my life. I noticed a discernable difference within a week with regard to my shoulder and elbow pain, as well as my more generic joint pain. I am now easily able to grip things, lift things, open jars, and do moderate intensity exercise multiple days a week. I do still have aches and pains in my joints from time to time, but the pain intensity and frequency has been significantly lowered. Even if I am experiencing a placebo effect, this seems worth it to me because now I am making upward progression in my physical activity, strength, and mobility-- something I was finding difficult to achieve.
