I am so glad that this product is still being made. This conditioner has so many uses. I use it as a pre-poo, a co-wash, as well as a leave-in. It is good for travel because it serves all these purposes without all the bottles. Of course, it is excellent for its intended use, which is to condition and detangle the hair. I like its coconut scent, which is subtle enough for me. When I use it as a leave-in, it does not flake and provides definition for my hair too, so it can be used as a styler if I'm pulling my hair back. If I'm using it as a styler and my hair is loose, I put a gel on top for hold. It works well with other styling products.

I have curly, fine, tangly, medium density 3c/4a hair. Years ago I tried to use this conditioner as a detangler, but it seemed to aid in the tangles, but in recent years I’ve also learned that for my hair less is more. I no longer an heavy handed with products, layer or use oil on my hair ( just scalp). This conditioner with water melts my tangles away and moisturizes my hair. I don’t think I’ll ever be without it! I’ve spent hundreds trying to find products that work. I’ve use drugstore products as well as salon. I’m now at the point I will use what works for MY hair and not jump on the newest trend. The conditioner is thick and a little goes a long way. I found that it is best when activated with water. It’s cost effective and it works!

This conditioner, for some reason was packaged in a bag not a box which caused this bottle to get dented up! Bolo took care of the problem for me, so hopefully this doesn’t happen again other than that great conditioner and smells great!

I love this conditioner for my low porosity, 3c hair. I have used this conditioner with the matching shampoo and my hair was so soft and moisturized afterwards. I also love that this conditioner is very reasonably priced, especially for the amount in the bottle. I will definitely repurchase this conditioner again, along with the matching shampoo.

Excellent for detangling and as a leave-in
I've used Herbal Essences Hello Hydration for many years.I do believe the formula changed slightly over the years but it's still a great conditioner if you want it to be a breeze to detangle. I have high density 3b waist-length curls.Not only do I use Hello Hydration conditioner to detangle but I also use it as a leave-in. My curls pop and last for a week.
