My go-to has always been Mary Jane's Crazy Mixed-Up Salt, but it was going to take a while to get to me via Bolo and I was feeling impatient, so I decided to give this a try. My main reason of getting it was to sprinkle onto my hard-boiled eggs and steamed veggies. The flavor is great, but the coarseness of the himalayan salt gives things a crunch that is a little off-putting.I plan on pouring this into a salt grinder to get a finer texture, and then I'm sure it will be perfect for just about anything, just like the crazy mixed-up salt I grew up with.If I were using this just to season raw meat, then I don't think it would be an issue as the cooking process and the juices from the meat would dissolve the salt a little and make it less crunchy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the BEST all-purpose seasoning. Chicken, veggies, potatoes, pork, shrimp, etc. Basically, it makes everything savory taste better. Might not be good on ice cream, but then again... it might.
