Absolutely love thisMy grandson is 6 and tiny, about the size of a 4 year old and it fits him perfectly and will be able to use it for awhile as it can be let out.The fasteners are very secure, 2 points to push to releaseDries out fast and no smellKeeps his head above water as he figures out how to maneuver and get the hang of floating.( I will add that he is Autistic and has tubes in his ears so he can not go under water right now)We feel this vest is best for his safety until he learns to swim, or at least stay afloat without a vest as Autistic children tend to be drawn to water and could lead to fatal outcome. He can not slip out of this vest eitherI highly recommend this to every parent

This product is just like is seems except it is a little big. I have a large 2 year old. He is 38 pounds and chunky for his age. This swim vest was big for him. I tightened it up as tight as it would go, but he needed it tighter. It would float up when he was in the water. The arm floaties part were to lose on him too. They kept him above water, but barely. I'm keeping these for next summer, I think it'll fit him great by then! The description said this was good for a 2 year old, so I wanted all 2 year old parents to know how it fit my child.

Easy to get on and looks very cute. Fits my 15 month old well but he’s a little tall for his age so probably would be good for a 2 year old too. We of course never leave him alone around water but this makes me feel more safe knowing it would help him if he got in the water. He likes to practice kicking and splashing just like his older sister.

This swim vest has been fantastic for my 3.5yo son (4’4” and 34lbs for reference). It has helped us get him used to water and build a positive relationship with water, keeping him safe and comfortable.The childproof buckle on this swim vest is also a huge benefit - as, while our eyes are always on my son while near water, knowing he or a friend can’t take the vest off themselves is a necessary comfort.I recommend this vest for children 2 and up, until they properly learn how to swim on their own. Now that he’s in swim lessons his confidence in the water makes life easier thanks to how much time he’s spent in pools already with the vest.Also, for $25 this is a STEAL. We’ve used it multiple times every weekend and it shows no sign of wear and tear. 10/10 recommend.

We liked the color as it’s visible and distinct when in water. Our girls are on the smaller end for weight so we ended up using safety pins to close them above the actual closure. Craftsmanship and quality of work was lacking, as one of the two we ordered was sewn inside out (white for shoulders instead of purple, and one of the safety clasps was also sewn backwards so it faced in making it a little more challenging to release). We hope that they will swim by themselves next season and we won’t need these anymore- however the one that is properly assembled works excellent- I think the foam in the defective one was inserted improperly as well.

I ordered this for my 2 year old to have in our pool. We had the original puddle jumper by Stearns. The stearns one was too big so I bought this one based on others reviews of how this one "fit smaller kids great."Attached is a picture of this brand next to our stearns puddle jumper (the whale one). You can tell the stearns one is actually smaller by about 2 inches. The other picture shows them both at their smallest setting and the stearns is smaller. This brand seems very cheaply made. The fabric is very loose (as seen in pictures) and likely wouldn't last a summer in a chlorinated pool. The inside just feels like Styrofoam. I will be returning this and sticking with stearns brand. I was really hopeful it would be smaller. The straps do not help it stay better like I thought it would. Those are insignificant in helping these types of floating devices.

This product fit my 33 pound 36 month old daughter. We have the straps pulled to create a very small setting , so I assume we will be able to wear it for many summers.

lo pedí para mi bb de año y medio y le quedo grande (mencionando que mi bb es grande y pesa 15kg) y la calidad no es buena, los flotadores se sienten como unicel forrado. Pésimo.
