Just had to replace one that I have used for several years. The old one worked fine until I just wore it out, but previous ones have all had basic design problems. This one solves several nuisance problems. The old ones were tall and would constantly tip over when you pull on the hose. This one is short and is on wide stance casters. It will follow you around like a dog on a leash when you drag it by the hose. They also put the pressure hose and the garden hose connections on opposite sides of the housing. Hoses aligned to each other also makes it easy to drag the rig along the driveway. The power cord is 30 foot. The added length is awesome. The pressure hose is still kinda stiff, but it has much more flex than my old pressure hose.I am also pleased with the nozzle. This has a large easy squeeze trigger and a metal extension for the nozzle tip wather than the entire gun being plastic. The enclosure has a location to store all of the nozzle tips so they don't get lost.Overall, this is a well thought out design.
5.0 out of 5 stars Delivers on its promise -- and then some
This pressure washer delivers on its promises -- and then some. I used this to clean a country sidewalk that had been reduced to the color of black grime over a 75-year period and was astounded: Every spec of black grime was removed.Essentially: I woke-up the next morning and it looked like someone had poured fresh concrete where the completely blackened sidewalk used to be.The secret to the complete removal of the grime was adding the Westinghouse optional surface cleaner attachment (PWSC12 12" Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner Attachment), which is attached to the pressure washer wand. This attachment -- which looks like a giant black bottle cap with two, water-spraying nozzles inside -- is attached to the wand and is guided slowly and methodically along a sidewalk or other surface to slowly power-wash away all the grime.Seriously: If you're going to use this pressure washer to clean your sidewalks or driveway, the surface cleaner attachment will enable you to quickly and easily remove all the grime without leaving any streaks. In contrast, if you try to clean a sidewalk by using just a wand and nozzle, the job will take you at least 10x longer, you're going to get streaking and there's a chance you could damage the sidewalk by applying too much water pressure to a specific patch of concrete. All told, I was able to transform 240 feet of standard width sidewalk -- sporting 75 years of grime -- to the color of freshly poured sidewalk in 4.5 hours with this pressure washer and the optional surface cleaner. That included using the surface cleaner first, and then doubling back to rinse the cleaned sidewalk using the wand/nozzle.A few tips I picked-up along the way while I was researching this product:*Whether you're using the surface cleaner or just a nozzle, it's a good idea to test the impact of the power-washing on a small segment of sidewalk, driveway, etc. before launching into the entire job. Some older driveways or sidewalks may not be able to take the water pressure.*Theoretically, the surface cleaner attachment, with its two nozzles, reduces the water pressure to 1,250 PSI per nozzle. Theoretically, this reduces the water-pressure stress on a sidewalk to half of what a nozzle alone might give you -- reducing the risk of damage to your sidewalk or other surface.*When using a nozzle for the first time, try spraying a small section of sidewalk, etc. at a 30-degree angle first -- rather than firing the nozzle straight down at the sidewalk -- and then waiting for the surface to dry so you can check for any damage.Essentially: Go slow at first, check the impact on your surface and then slowly ratchet-up -- always double-checking that you're not doing any damage as you ratchet-up the impact of the increased water pressure on your surface.*If you need to extend the range-of-use for this pressure washer, it's better to buy a longer pressure washer hose than a longer garden hose that feeds into the pressure washer. Using a short garden hose enables the pressure washer to work more efficiently as compared to using a longer garden hose.*If you're buying a longer pressure washer hose, seriously consider one that advertises -- and delivers on -- the promise that its an anti-kinking hose. Cheaper pressure washer hoses without this promise can kink-up on you in multiple sections with every use. This slows you down as you repeatedly need to take the time to un-kink the hose.
5.0 out of 5 stars Overall good design
Very easy to set up and get running, the placement of the wheels and low center of gravity make tipping this unit over almost impossible. That was a key item for me as my previous unit tipped over constantly. The EPX3100 has more pressure than my previous unit and cleans very well. Haven't had a chance to use the soap dispenser but I'm looking forward to trying that out. I would highly recommend the EPX3100.
4.0 out of 5 stars The soap dispenser did not work on the first one. Westinghouse was not helpful.
I wanted a pressure washer that I could use by myself. The soap dispenser did not work on the first one we received. We contacted Westinghouse customer service and the person on the phone could not resolve our issue. We were told we would hear from someone else in 3-5 days. When we received that email, all the person said was that we are supposed to use the black tip for soap. We had already tried that multiple times. I requested a replacement through Bolo instead of dealing with Westinghouse again. I put the replacement together today and tried it out with just plain water in the soap dispenser so as not to waste any more detergent. It worked fine. The pressure is good, the machine is small and lightweight although it is made of a lot of plastic. It is easy to use. The soap dispenser is a bit annoying in that it is very hard to pull out and impossible to fill if you don't pull is out from the machine to angle it. You have to open the cap, put your fingers inside and pull very hard. Now I will return the first one but we could not get the wheels back off to fit it in the box so we will have to get a larger box.
5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely worth the price!
Just put it together. It was easy and pretty self explanatory. Functioned better than expected. Did some outdoor furniture cleaning, stucco on the house. Window screens and paving stone walkway. And my car. Works as well as the big gas unit’s I’ve used in the past without all the noise and hassle. My neighbors should thank me! The wheels are a great addition as the unit won’t tip and moves as you need unlike ALL the others gas or electric I’ve used. All the parts, cord, hose and nozzles store neatly on the unit.A couple of others said the plastic fitting blew off due to pressure. Solution is to start it with the trigger open so you don’t over stress the fitting on startup. The instructions tell you this. In any event mine is metal so it seems they rectified the problem. The construction is obviously not as robust as its gas powered counterparts but I’m not doing commercial applications and don’t have the room. It’s compact and if treated well, stored and maintained properly I think it’ll serve for many years. Well worth the price.
Excelente diseño.

Además las 4 llantas tienen seguro para inmovilizar la a la hora de trabajar. La recomiendo ampliamente.
Good powerwash
Good pressure, light weight, easy transfer and connection.
It works well!
Very simple and intuitive to assemble. Stable with a wide stance. Have only used once so far to wash a composite deck and was happy with results. Unit is much quieter than a gas equivalent with plenty of power for the size. Will update after a few more uses.
excelente
excelente, muy facil de usar, y buena calidad
Nice for the price.
Product is compact and more stable than other more upright models. My one nozzle seems slight misshapen which causes the 15° nozzle to not be all that great. Haven't checked the others yet. Could be a problem for other purchasers, I have a set from an old washer.Over all I am satisfied but could see others having minor issues.
