Title says it. My partner loves it too. Great for date nights and works alright for casual settings. Performance is decent, which is kind of what you want for a date night frag. Entice other closer to you rather than letting them smell you from a distance. Easily my favorite bottle in this price range, it's just not as versatile as other fragrances out there. If you want something more versatile (for a smaller collection or just getting started) get a blue fragrance or eros. They're more generic, but that's why they work well in most situations.

So, I've been a big fan of the One by Dolce for a while now. Recently I purchased light blue. Liked it that I purchased another set but it was different! When I actually read the labels I noticed that the 1st light blue was Parfum and it was "intense". I knew about the different intensities with cologne titles but never applied them when purchasing my favorite "The One".Bolo to the rescue. Out of the blue I searched Eu de perfume the one and this bad boy popped up. Purchased the smaller 50ml to start....holy ****! This stuff is amazing. Stays on my shirt for 3 to 4 days!I'll be buying more from here. Some store just don't carry the whole line of intense parfum like you can find here.

A Beautiful Scent
I may have lived under a rock for the last 5 years or so but I hadn't really heard very much about this scent before I blind bought it. The very first time I sprayed it I was less than impressed. It may have been a perfumers alcohol blast but regardless, I put it away and forgot about it. A couple of weeks later I tried it again. The opening was a lot more pleasant than I remembered but DAMN that dry down is amazing. It's soft, and creamy and beautifully powdery but it also has this gorgeous pipe tobacco accord that takes me back to my Grandfather's study and his collection of pipes, his large jar of tobacco and the beautiful painting that hung above his fireplace.The downside to this scent, and there is one, would be projection. On my skin; within the first hour I get light to moderate projection, after which, it becomes a skin scent. Spray this on cloth and it lasts 24 hours BUT again any projection is very close.The price point for this fragrance is absolutely superb. I just hope that the next time D&G make a flanker they do something about the horrible projection.
