I also have a waterlily that’s in a pot about 2’ under the water. These scissors are perfect for clipping off the dead stems at their base without having to move the lily. They work great for reaching the plants across the pond, too.I saw it mentioned that they’re prone to rusting, but mine haven’t at all.I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who has a pond with plants that need to be trimmed.

Not rust proof, so get them dry before putting away.Makes trimming val, sagittaria, sword plants reachable in a deeper and/or wider aquarium. Indispensable!

I scoured the Internet looking for scissors this long because I have a fish that hits hard and bites when I care for his tank. Finally found them here. So happy with the length! Now that I got them, I realize I need curved ones instead. Great for cutting individual stems in my tank, but to do grasses, I really do need curved ones. Very happy I got these, though. Sometimes, size IS the most important thing.

The jaws of these pretend scissors have two blunt edges that barely meet. They might cut jello but that's about it.

Badly made and just thrown in a yellow shipping envelope, the set is soiled & covered with iron dust and oil, bowed & blades do not even close all the way at the tip. Avoid!-After this 1-star review, several fake 5-star ratings without any reviews appeared for this awfully made tool.I will definitely avoid all AAProTools products.
