I bought this as and alternative to bread crumbs as I need to consume less carbs. The smell is a little off putting at first but the taste is just so great. It's a bit higher in price than one would like to pay for a bread crumb substitute but I knew that when I bought it. The only other issue is that is is not as thick as using bread crumbs so you need to use ever more to get the same density as you would with breads. I will say if you need to lower your carb intake and can afford the extra money over bread crumbs this is a great product and taste great. I will be buying it again.

I've been carnivore for a while now, but have grown tired of breaking from carnivore to enjoy my favorite way to have chicken tenders.My favorite way is to bread the tenders with 2 parts grated parmesan cheese to 1 part Italian-flavored bread crumbs. Of course, I add salt, black pepper (or even guinea pepper works), and a little garlic powder. Sometimes I even add a dash of ground pepper flakes when I want a little more zing. Then I dip bites in homemade keto ranch dressing that's less than a gram of carbs per serving. Omg, this meal just sends me! lol But the bread crumbs meant breaking from carnivore to enjoy it.I was shopping for pork rinds to grind up to use for this purpose, but I kept thinking it would add more sodium to the crumbs than I wanted. As luck would have it, these pork rind crumbs came up in the results for pork rinds. You can get plain ones, spicy ones, and Italian-flavored ones like I got. I think there might be more more flavors too.Anyway, in the first photo, I used my salt lamp to show the size of the container by comparison. It's not a tiny jar — you get a good amount. The second photo I took to show the actual crumbs. It looks like your regular breading. Also it's worth noting that it smells just like any other Italian flavored bread crumbs I've ever bought, so they got the spice combination right.When I fried tenders breaded with this in a pan, a lot of the coating disappeared. On my next batch, I baked the tenders instead and that kept the breading in place much better. Delicious!I'm SO SO SO happy that I can now have breaded things (omg, even meatballs) without breaking carnivore! I'll never buy bread crumbs again or have to feel guilty for enjoying breaded chicken.

Made a dish with this then realized the best by date on the bottle was 2 months old. Wish they would have checked the date of the product before shipping it out. A tad bit too salty for liking. Didn’t give it a lower star because the texture was spot on and good ingredients. To improve in the future you can always add salt but you can’t ever remove it, make it less salty and if the distributor could double check their dates before mailing out a past date product then I wouldn’t be weary of ordering this brand again.
