I had a iPod player collecting dust since I rarely bust out my old iPods. I was this close to throwing it out but thought I would do a quick search on Bolo for an adapter and sure enough, this clever device came up.After seeing it rated 4 1/2stars and reading some reviews I thought I would give it a try.Docks just as an iPod would so easy to install. Bluetooth connection is a breeze and in a matter of moments you’re listening to music from your phone or any other blue tooth device you are choosing to use. Sound quality is as good as your speaker system allows.If you still have an old 30 pin iPod speaker system laying around, buy this and bring life back to it rather than getting rid of it!

Overall the product works great! It's given new life to the BOSE Sound Dock & it being paired with my iPhone. The pairing process was straightforward with no issues and the sound quality is pretty good. It's only been ~3 weeks of use so we'll see how long the product lasts.Areas for improvement:- Product installation documentation is poor & confusing.- When the product is switched on, the interaction between the Sound Dock and the Bluetooth adapter causes an initial loud bleep (to get around this I decrease the volume to its lowest setting on the Sound Dock then increase the volume prior to playing music).

This worked perfectly with my Sony MHC-EC909IP but didn't work with my Sony LBT-ZX66I. Now I can't say for certain if it's the fault of the docking station or if the Bluetooth adapter just isn't compatible with the ZX66I. Several years back I bought a used iPod Touch and I seem to recall that not working on this ZX66I either. (I sold the iPod immediately thereafter because they are a virtually useless product once Apple ends support, so I can't try it again now to verify.So, I give this adapter a big thumbs up, it connected immediately with no nonsense and it works great and while I didn't test the full distance capability, I can say it had no connectivity issues 25 feet away and through my living room wall. Definitely a good choice and at a good price!

Used this on an old Bose speaker iPod dock I had in my garage and it has decent range, I can walk to the end of my driveway and still play music. Also able to use it for Bluetooth in my car utilizing the aux port and an old iPod charger to power it. Automatically connects as soon as I start the car.

Took me awhile but finally found a device that works well with our older Bose 10 sound dock. Sounds good with the bluetooth and also when plugged into our phones through this device. Recommended.
