ESPEICALLY for kids and is very accurate. I have all sorts of thermometers I'ev collected through the years. This is the least invasive and most accurate one. I also love the colors (red for high fevers, yellow for mid-grade and greeen for no fever) since it takes away alot of guessing (and google-ing). As soon as I popped in the batteries (y'all, it comes with batteries, no need to buy separate) it beeped. It was on and looking for a reading. You press the button in the center and boom--you have yoru temp. Way faster than the oral kind, less invasive than recatal (hello!) and much easier to use than the one that goes in the ear (which I tried when my daughter had an ear infection. Stupid, I know). 10/10. If you come across this review, stop looking and just buy this one. You'll be glad you did!

This thermometer is a FAST and easy and appears accurate. The only thing I noticed with this product, is that it shows green even when temperature is Lower than usual. A temperature of 95 degrees Fahrenheit, especially in a chronically or suddenly ill person who just had high temperature is a potential emergency. I got it to register 93.7 and it lit up green rather than red. I consider all the 94's and less red emergencies, 95's yellow, 96's noteworthy, and 97's green. Oral thermometers require a tedious wait of 20 min or so after eating or drinking for an accurate reading. Using ear thermometers much can be uncomfortable. This product is Worth every penny.

Pros: It reads fast and the color instantly tells if the reading is normal or fever. The size is easy to handle and doesn't require touching the person for a reading.Cons: Accuracy seems a little off, about 0.9 degrees low reading forehead and 0.7 degrees low on the temple. This is using 98.6 deg F as a baseline but maybe my temp is a little low. I can just add this amount to any reading in the future.It turns itself off automatically and uses two AAA batteries which are included. Overall I like it. I gave it 5 stars because I can't be sure if the low reading is due to me or calibration.

Love this! I got this because my friend fell sick not too long ago, I used this for the first time and luckily they didn't have a fever, but was still hot. I even used it on myself a couple of times because of how hot I felt and had a headache. The brightness is good and easy to read. The only noise is when it keeps to let you know that it read your temperature and it's not that loud. The size is great for you to store it anywhere! It works really well! I don't know about the orange and red lighting because no one's fever has gone up that high yet, but the green light is nice and bright!

Great little device. I like that I can take a temp without waking the kids. It is infrared so i can see where the device is aiming and when it displays the temp it display is in either green for good, orange for watch, and red for fever.

Has a reading hint to know when you have temperature in 3 options green is for normal, yellow need to pay attention if might start, and red when you have temperature. It comes with 2 AAAbatteries easy to replace if needed. It also has the instructions. Will turn off automatically and is light.

I love how quick this thermometer is to take temperatures. It is super durable and the size is perfect for any hand size. The screen display is great and is bright enough to read and see it even in a well lit area. I do like that if you do have a fever that it beeps immediately so you are aware instead of trying to figure out what is high enough for even a low grade fever. I have not noticed any inaccuracies in this thermometer.
