These Iberia Maduritos Sweet Plantain Chips are a great snack—perfectly sweet with that classic plantain flavor. They're not overly greasy and have a satisfying crunch. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that a few chips can be a little too hard sometimes. Still, they’re delicious overall and definitely worth trying if you like plantains!

These are the only affordable platanitos lately after my first batches. Like half the price of the unsweet ones. and they're a little too intense for my taste on teh vegetable oil. I feel like i'm eating ever so slightly rancid old vegetable oil like the falvor is just ever so slightly off in a way that makes me think it's not only less than ideal to taste it's probably not great for my body either. hydrogenated seed oils seem to really inflame endometriosis and me/cfs so i think i'm gonna cut back.That said they're an affordable crunchy snack and who doesn't love platanitos?? if you huff the veg oil stuff on a more typically USian level you'd love these.
