I use this to help roll my 17' sea kayak out of my basement egress window, and it has been perfect. I wrapped it with pipe insulation tape and built up the sides a bit to force the kayak into the middle. It seems sufficiently sturdy for my application.

Bearings rolled smoothly and it was certainly heavy duty. I have them positioned on either end of a compound mitre saw station. They work wonderfully for that application. The only complaint I have is I feel the base flange should have been wider to facilitate the use of a standard socket and ratchet for mounting and dismounting. You have to use a box wrench on the top because of the lack of sufficient clearance beneath the roller.

Heavy-duty rollers. I converted a V-pipe stand to a roller type. These worked very well. I use it with my bandsaw and put a 10' X 3" X3" X 1/4" steel tube on it the first day. It handled it with no problems.

Have used this to deploy and retrieve my longline and float line when fishing. It is mounted on the starboard side of my boat. Pleased enough with it I purchased another in the same 15 inch size, and will mount it on the stern to deploy my lines, retrieving them to starboard (we live and learn). I found if you make some ‘ears’ from plywood that extend upwards 3-4 inches above the roller, the lines will not run off.
