What I don't yet know is if this name-brand, high-priced version is significantly better than others of the same shape. It was recommended to me by a makeup expert familiar with the kind of trans-fem presentation I'm doing, so for now I'm sticking with it even though knock-offs cost a quarter as much.But what I do know is the flat side makes all the difference, compared to the teardrop ones I've tried before. I'm still not great at using the pointy end, but the flat end and a patting motion make my foundation work so much better.I also haven't mastered cleaning it. I rinse and squeeze, then I let it soak in warm water with Dawn and do it again, but it doesn't seem to come as clean as I'd expect. Is it the sponge's fault or mine? I don't know.

Loooove this. Elf is becoming my fav cosmetic brand. This was my first ever makeup sponge and I was skeptical. This totally elevated my makeup game though!!! I don’t think I’ll ever go back. After a lot of use, I tried to replace with with an off-brand multipack that I found on Bolo and wound up reordering this one lol it just wasn’t the same! Would definitely recommend, especially for such a reasonable price!

I love these! They are better than a beauty blender and at a great price! I don’t mind just tossing mine when they get too dirty or get cracks because they’re so affordable to replace. The absorbency is perfect and it won’t soak up your makeup so you won’t waste a bunch. Easy to clean with soap and water.

Esta esponja es MAGNÍFICA y todas necesitamos un par en nuestros cosméticos.Si la mojas, crece al doble de su tamaño. La textura es suave, algo porosa (no se siente como si fuera de látex lo cual -a mi parecer- la hace un poco menos delicada y más resistente). Con la punta de piquito puedes aplicar perfectamente el maquillaje en los ojos y la nariz y con el otro extremo plano aplicas el maquillaje fácil y rápidamente; eso si, tienes que hacerlo con toquecitos (no arrastrar).La lavo siempre después de utilizarla con jabón neutro marca Lirio y queda como nueva.Es una herramienta muy versátil para aplicar maquillaje tanto húmeda como seca, sobre todo si eres principiante, pues facilita todo!! La recomiendo 100%
