5.0 out of 5 stars Not even an imitation Alexandrite.

    A.C. · February 3, 2025

The Gemstone is quite large as expected, the color does change but not in a way like an alexandrite. The stone is magenta in sunlight and orange in incandescent light. I expect it might turn green in florescent light but I haven't seen that yet. This is not a good substitute for alexandrite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing fake about the one I received.

    C. · August 17, 2021

At 82 ct it is a lovely example of the chrysoberyl family and a fine addition to my loose jewel collection. The color change is not as dramatic as can be found in much smaller stones but the clear color and the size of the stone make it very worthwhile. The only downside is the length of time it took to get here, but worth the wait!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and so pleased with my purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars This product is not what it claims to be

    D.A.V. · November 28, 2021

The media could not be loaded. It took forever to get here it was months since I placed this order and it is not color changing it is one color it does not change color it's 66 carats it's huge and from what I understand there if it was a real Stone real color changing Chrysoberyl it would be worth thousands and thousands of dollars so that's what I'm unhappy with

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't color match others so buy all stones you need in one batch as a precaution.

    G.J. · June 23, 2022

Tried to complete a set but color shifts completely different spectrum . Need to start with all from same batch ,ring, necklace earings. Product picture doesn't help.

    Mystery gems.

    B.r.g. · February 7, 2025

It's interesting ,the gem will scratch glass but doesn't register on a Presiduim 2 gem tester. The Presiduim 2 says "glass" but it's harder then glass and will scratch glass.Synthetic polyemorphadite? It's the same with all those large gem stones 25$ for 59 carets of alexanderite or topaz or whatever.they all scratch glass but do not register on a presiduim 2 tester.Anyones guess.
