Use this spray decoupage glue to apply decorative and 3D elements to your projects. You can spray, pour, or brush on this unique formula of Mod Podge. Before using Mod Podge Ultra shake the bottle well. Prime the nozzle with a few pumps and spray away from your project to test the spray strength, as the nozzle may sputter. To prevent excess application and drips, apply thin coats rather than one thick coat to your project. For best results elevate your project off of your work surface so Ultra can flow over the edge. While your surface is wet with Mod Podge Ultra, feel free to add any design elements. Allow your project to dry for 4 to 24 hours. Immediately clean the Mod Podge Ultra spray nozzle after each use so that it remains open and clog-free for future use.

I tried this out for the first time yesterday; refined how I use it today. I've used other Mod Podge products, but was looking for a sealer that wouldn't leave brush marks on my items. I use card stock to decorate unfinished wooden boxes. Regular Satin Mod Podge looks very nice as a sealer, but it's impossible to not leave some brush strokes in it, even when I use a sponge applicator, because it's pretty thick. This Mod Podge Ultra Gloss is thin, almost watery. I tried it on several boxes that I made that were still unsealed. I tried it with a Taklon brush and also a standard, cheap little sponge applicator. Both worked well, but I liked the sponge applicator best; it gave me better control.I found out it's important to use very little at a time; MUCH better to have thin coats. If you put too much down, it can pool and look funny when it dries. I dip the tip of the applicator into the liquid and then press it against the side of the bowl to get rid of the excess liquid. Then I just brush it onto the paper that has been glued (and thoroughly dried) onto the wooden box. I go around the edges and just brush it all over the surface to spread it out. I work quickly because it dries fast. As my final step, I make even, light, parallel strokes, going from one side to the other to smooth it out nicely. It's very important to use just a little and work quickly. Then I just put the item aside to dry. It dries in just a few minutes.The first coat seals nicely and has a matte finish; barely noticeable. The second coat adds a nice little sheen to the surface. The third coat adds a distinctly glossy look. So I can use it to achieve whichever effect I want on my finished product. Another nice feature of this product is that it makes the colors of my card stock look more vivid; they really pop! I'm glad I discovered this product and will continue using it on my decorated boxes.

Works great to seal in loose glitter on projects. But it gets hard to spray if you’re covering a large area or a lot of items. Also the spray nozzle definitely needs to be cleaned as recommended between uses or it will clog and not spray evenly.Be sure to use light coats and do multiple coats for your project. Spraying too much at one time will make it run and leave marks.

I am not a crafter, but OMG, I used this on some new Christmas decorations that had shedding glitter AND PRESTO - NO MORE SHEDDING GLITTER!!!! When I say I love this stuff, I kid you not! I used a soft brush to get the extra stuff off first (outside of course) and then sprayed this all over. Zero discoloration, zero issues with even being able to see it and it worked like magic. I cannot wait to apply it to my favorite holiday items that always leave traces of their presence MONTHS after the decorations have been packed and stored away...

I was looking for something to adhere glitter with minimal fallout. Brushing on adhesive was hard to get even without lines or brush marks and messing around with it to “fix” these marks, would ruin it inevitably. This stuff is self leveling so I don’t have to worry about it looking creased or textured. I cleaned the nozzle thoroughly with warm to hot water, I got a glass of warm water and sprayed it through to make sure all the adhesive was removed and I have had no issue with clogging. This stuff works better than I expected it to and I would definitely recommend!

There's a lot of hype around this product but I just don't get it. It didn't do well as an adhesive for my project and as far as using it as a sealer that's not clear either. I have a Sketchbook and used it on two neighboring pages. Every time I open to those pages I find that they are slightly stuck together. I'm pretty sure this is not what's supposed to happen.
Disappointed
The liquid is thick and white and doesn’t work as a spray and it doesn’t glue well. Very disappointed
