This balm is gentle, soothing, and really effective when I remember to use it consistently! I was having issues with extreme dryness and irritation, to the point where it was burning/stinging when I went to the bathroom and I was near tears on a regular basis from the pain. It felt like I had tiny paper cuts all over that area and I couldn't figure out why or how to fix it. I had been to my gynecologist and he just recommended some OTC moisturizers, but they didn't help at all (and I'm very sensitive to using things in that area--I usually develop infections or rashes from anything with fragrance or other synthetic ingredients). Of course he ruled out any possible infections or diseases, too, but we were both fairly confident that nothing like that was causing the issues (he knows my medical history and knew that I wasn't at risk for most of the potential culprits). I decided to try this product and WOW!!! I was hesitant to leave a review because it's such a personal product but I felt compelled because if I can help someone else find an answer to her problem then it's worth my potential embarrassment! Oddly enough, once I got myself totally healed (no more dryness, irritation, pain, paper cut feelings, etc.) I've only had to use this very intermittently. As long as I use it at the first sign of a potential issue starting (dryness, irritation, etc.) then I only have to use it once or twice and the issue subsides! I keep this on hand at all times now, and when I was still in the process of healing the area I even kept some in a tiny travel container so I could take it with me. And because it's made from only natural ingredients it didn't cause any additional irritation at all! I highly recommend this product for anyone struggling with pain, irritation, dryness, etc. (as long as you've ruled out the possibility of any diseases or infections).

I guess my skin is more sensitive than what I thought even though this product contains organic oils which is a plus...I still experience burning when applied to the vulva skin. I only used this product for three days and this is what I discovered. In order for me to use this without burning is I have to add another oil to it. What I found that’s working so far without burning is tea tree oil. Since it has a cooling affect I think it balances out the other oils for me. I can’t apply this as is. I found this out earlier today as I experimented with this combination. I added a drop or two of tea tree oil and a nice nickel size scoop of the product and I mixed it in the palm of my hand then I applied to the vulva skin. Come to my surprise no burning I felt the cooling affect of the tea tree oil.This product does work not saying it doesn’t but for me to use it I found I had to mix it. Other than that I like how it’s not greasy and has no fragrance.

This is just what I needed for the changes we ladies get in our to our intimate vulva area due to hormone changes from childbirth, medications, exercise, menopause, etc. I suffered for years after my hysterectomy, until one particular doctor finally told me what was happening and that it was normal changes and could be corrected or helped depending on the cause. This product works wonderful on the "outer' vaginal and vulva area to moisturize and heal our delicate skin to keep it from itching, burning and getting those micro-tears from having relations. This makes having sex much more enjoyable.Ladies, we don't have to give it up when we get older because of the changes. There are things we can do for internal and external. I use twice a day and it alleviates the symptoms. However, I have to use the product faithfully due to decrease in estrogen from surgical menopause. This is for external only. I use this or V-Magic. They are both similar ingredients and work the same and just as good as the other, so I buy what I can get the cheapest at the time.

This was much more effective for me than the Vagisil “sensitive skin” anti-itch cream I purchased before buying this. I was literally waking up to the itching while on the other product, so I ordered this balm (with overnight delivery), to use first thing in the morning. It’s been a LOT more soothing!After cleaning your hands, use the little scraper to get a pea or bean-sized amount of balm. I get some on both of my pointer and middle fingers (of both hands), then rub into the folds of everything. Especially where it’s most irritated. You will feel a lot of moisture for quite a while, but it’s soothing, IMO. The itch and irritation isn’t 100% gone, but I notice a drastic difference right away. I’m also *not* waking up at night scratching myself. (I also purchased a wash that is meant for this area- one that is PH Balanced- to help avoid further irritation).

The media could not be loaded. I am in perimenopause and live in the desert, so I use this every time after I go to the bathroom. It is so mild and there is nothing irritating about it. I also put it on my lips on my face in addition to down there. I wanted something natural that did not irritate and I found it in this! My 3rd jar! It lasts a long time!
