Love love love this shampoo. There is no oiliness to it and the smell is beautiful. The texture is creamy and it does a great job and keeping my hair soft. I have been using this product for over a year now and I can highly recommend it.

Hydration is a critical need for wavy/curly hair - which is typically lower in porousity than other hair types (unless chemicall treated). So - I was surprised to see a few ingredients counter-productive to hydration and prone to weighing down curly hair. Nevertheless, the formula is still fair and better than many others out there. The stink, however, is a deal-killer. The smells of the ingredients would have been fine, but, the manufacturer added a synthetic chemical for a "fragrance" due to what they believe is a market demand. They need to revisit this issue as more people are becoming aware of just what is it that is giving them congestion, etc. - it's the CHEMICAL/SYNTHETIC added fragrance in their gromming products!!! So disappointed in SheaMoisture. I had hoped they would do better than that.

A little goes a long way with this stuff, usually my hair sucks up any shampoo I use and I feel like I use so much product just trying to cover my scalp but this seems to spreads so much better. I also double shampoo due to oily scalp and this doesn't dry my hair out.
