If you are like me, you were looking for a direct replacement for your 2017 Nissan Versa CVT fluid. After changing the metal valve body filter & side cartridge filter, you can remove the 8/10mm bolt from the dipstick tube from the driver side wheel well & take a small funnel to pour this fluid in. If you are concerned about it mixing with the OEM fluid I did it on my car owned since new and am now at 160K miles on my factory CVT. Also 10K miles after the dealer told me I needed a new CVT. After completing those changes and keeping my car under 3K rpm’s it still runs like a top. You have to be easy on these trans but they will last. Also remember to set your E brake before removing your foot off the pedal in park so it doesn’t rock on the CVT. This fluid is a direct replacement for the NS3 Nissan fluid so rest easy if you’re doing your research to find a cheaper solution. I took the bullet for you & can confirm it works!Just an update 25MAR2025 180K miles now and still no issues. Nissan is really pulling the wool over my eyes. Guess I should send them a picture of the mileage vs what they told me after a nice little DIY. This fluid is 1000% safe.

Replaced transmission oil with this CVT N-3 Transmission oil. I've used it in my 2016 Altima CVT transmission and several hundred miles later, my Altima is running smoothly. I changed the oil and the small filter too. Very important on these CVT Transmissions.

Cheaper than Nissan brand CVT fluid for basically the same product. Change your CVT fluid folks, it’s not that hard! It is NOT a “lifetime” product! Worked perfectly for my 2013 Altima
