Love this kettle. Fast and attractive and has made the morning routine for tea and coffee more streamlined. Not as fast as euro kettles running on 220v but still fast enough.I use a nylon kitchen brush weekly to quickly clean the heating element and keep it nice and shiny looking like new.Only thing I wish would be if the lid to be removable. I'm worried it could break off in time, but only time will tell. Till then we're happy with our purchase.

I received one as a gift several years ago and it recently stopped working after many years of great service. The new model is slightly different with a better switch. I hope it will last as long as the old one. Great product.

I’ve had this kettle for over 3 months and use it every day (sometimes multiple times a day). It works great! It heats up quickly and quietly. My mom also has one and loves it! Highly recommend

This is my third Capresso tea kettle because the design goes well with my kitchen and they have a 4-5 year lifespan. In the past, I have purchased model 259. This time I purchased model 240. The cord to model 240 is 1 foot shorter than model 259, which means you barely have enough cord to plug it directly into an outlet. If not, you will need an extension cord. Considering the price of this tea kettle and its short lifespan, I’m very disappointed.
