My mom and aunts always claimed they used Ponds when people commented on their fabulous skin. So when I started having trouble with dark spots, o turned to Ponds.Having visited my dermatologist and several procedures costing thousands of dollars, my little jar of Ponds did the trick for around $8.00. My dark spots are now gone if they start coming back I just apply my Ponds Clarest.

This product has definitely, if slowly, lightened dark spots (this would get it 4 stars). I gave it 5 stars because, along with evening my skin tone, I believe it has dramatically improved the look of broken blood vessels on my face. I have always had terrible allergies and years worth of blowing my nose left me with noticeable broken red-blood vessels under my nostrils. After using the cream for 2 months, they are almost gone.

I purchased this because I noticed my dark spots had gotten so pronounced they were the featured guests on Zoom meetings. I don't spend a lot of time looking in mirrors so I didn't notice just how bad they had gotten.I was a afraid to use skin bleach because they have too many side effects. I'm sure this has skin bleach in it but it's a very low dose and Pond's is historically gentle and effective so I decided to go back to a proven favorite.The scent is light and it absorbs well. I do recommend spreading it thin or putting a powder over it because it can cause more shine than anticipated. In short don't slather it on, less is more.The price for this two-tub pack is phenomenal and it moisturizes better than my much more expensive creams that I will not be going back to. It took about a month to notice fading had started. My hyperpigmentation comes and goes so I'm sticking with Pond's for budget friendly maintenance and continual improvement.

Feels nice and smooth to put on. Feel hydrating. Not sure I noticed any dark spots correcting. Still use it to hydrate. Smell isn't to strong and smells good. But it does cause a few little breakouts for me.
