My senior dog has arthritis, but only in one leg. We've been using these as her breakfast treats for years at my vet's recommendation and though she's getting older and losing some mobility, she's way ahead of other dogs her age and size. She also loves them and is very excited to chow down; she lets me know if I've taken too long to get them for her in the morning!

We bought 3 different brands and this is the only one she would eat. It’s been 6 weeks and our 12 yr old Shitzu is back to her old self. We saw improvement after one week and she just kept getting more pep in her step and self assurance. We started with a 1/2 stick for a couple days, now use one a day.

Originally I was buying a more pricey brand that my 14 yr old chihuahua absolutely loves. My lil guy is an extremely picky eater & has medical problems so I try to get him something healthy w/lots of flavor (chicken). After his morning meds, I let him pick what treat he wants but he only gets to choose 1 of 3 treats. The mass majority of the times he chooses the Happy Hips. Normally he gets 2-3 treats a day & I always make sure I have a good variety for him to choose from & if the Happy Hips Jerky isn’t one of them he just stares at me as if to say “ uh excuse me, where’s the jerky?”. As soon as I grab the bag of Jerky he gets really excited with his tail wagging at top speed and I know exactly what he wants. The Jerky is a little expensive but less expensive then the Dogs Well & both have the glucosamine & chondroitin along w/the good flavor & he loves both brands equally. He loves the Happy Hips, & the price works for me. **Added Benefit- Even though my lil guy has a few missing teeth he can still eat these Jerky’s with no problem, they are the hard jerky not the soft & chewy ones.**

Our little guy has never been food or treat motivated, but he is toy motivated. He will do anything for his favorite toys, but does not get excited about eating.Until now... the Chicken Jerky is absolute crack for him. He will do anything for his jerky. He runs to his crate as soon as we open the bag at night. It has also made training much easier. He is so focused on the jerky, the rest of the world fades away. That is unusual since he normally has the attention span of a gnat with ADD.In addition to being his favorite treat, it is also great for his luxating patella. He was already on two supplement but this has definitely improved his overall joints. His knee has not popped out of joint since we started him on Happy Hips.We have tried other brands and even other meat versions of Happy Hips, but his favorite is definitely chicken.The only drawback is the bag does not always seal correctly so the jerky gets hard very fast. We typically put the jerky in a gallon sized zip lock baggie and it stays fresh longer.
