5.0 out of 5 stars Good, Sturdy, Shoe For pronation, low arches and plantar fasciitis
I’ve been wearing these shoes for a little over a year now and they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. They are absolutely phenomenal with plantar fasciitis and severe pronation toward the inside of your feet. They have a bar support inside them so it keeps arch in the natural position it’s supposed to be in countering the pronation which prevents the plantar fasciitis symptoms. tried at least 50 pairs of shoes before these because I stand for 12 hours a day in retail and no matter what my plantar fasciitis symptoms and knees would hurt really bad. I would find after just a few weeks most shoes would bow inward toward the inside of my arch. These shoes have not done that in over a year and they feel like they’re out of the box. I even brought them to my podiatrist and orthopedic surgeon and they said this is a very well-made shoe very sturdy. Probably the best you can get so if you have any of the issues I listed above, I would recommend this shoe it takes away almost all the pain completely.

I have been a waitress for over 30 years. When I started to have back problems, finding an excellent shoe for work wasn’t easy. The older you get, the more you are willing to spend. After my first spinal surgery, I had to get serious with the shoes. When I discovered these on Bolo, I was over the moon. The shoes you need to perform a job like mine need to be1. Slip resistant2. Solid black if you work at a higher level3. Comfortable, it’s hard to tell when just trying on4. Arch support, but hard to find with all the above requirements5. Can handle wear and tear.6. I’m not going to say washable, because I wipe mine with a wet cloth when needed.I am female, so I had to buy a men’s 2 sizes smaller. The fit was perfect. I wore them to work the day they arrived. OMGosh. I was floating around the restaurant. These shoes are so comfortable and do not need to be broken in. I was very worried about how slip resistant they would be, these shoes are not made for servers. I didn’t have one slip. My coworkers started asking me (that same night) about my shoes. When I told them they were Brooks they didn’t believe me or thought I had lost my mind. Any server with a bad back has tried to find solid black Brooks that were slip resistant and not $200. Wish I could give them 10 stars. Good bye Sketchers hello Brooks. I’m never going back.

I like them a lot! They are not at all like sneakers or Hokus or the other pair of Brooks that I like too, but are still comfortable. More rugged?A very good shoe for walking. I did not know that pat and leather was still around (no, not that crazy but be forewarned).

These are wonderful. Walked hard all summer and no foot pain at all. Plantar pain did not return. A little pricy but well worth it. I walk about 4 miles a day in the summer and these really worked at support and cushioning for my feet. Will definitely buy again.

These shoes are light weight and have very good arch support. Most Brooks shoes for men are very comfortable. Some are a little heavy and I prefer the lighter weight. I also have a pair of Brooks waterproof shoes and they are a little heavier but keep your feet dry when doing outside sports or walking.

These sneakers were very supportive in the beginning and felt well made. However, after wearing them and work since August, they’ve already started to fall apart. In my opinion, I know this is a walking shoe, but for the price should’ve held up much better.

I didn't know Brooks had winter shoes. Especially leather at that. Been wearing them a few days and they really are comfortable. Most comfortable leather shoes I've ever owned.
