In 2001 their debut album Simple Things was released selling over a million copies to date and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Zero 7 were also nominated as Best Newcomer at the Brit Awards 2001. Simple Things peaked at no.28 in the UK album chart and spent 89 weeks on the chart. Stateside, the album hit no.4 on the Billboard Dance / Electronic album chart and stayed on that chart for 52 weeks. Singles taken from the original album included I Have Seen featuring Mozez, Destiny featuring Sia & Sophie Barker, In the Waiting Line featuring Sophie Barker and Distractions featuring Sia. This 2CD special edition of the album mirrors the now unavailable original CD & an extra disc of 11 tracks. Some of the 2nd disc tracks have never been made available before - including 3 live sessions. Zero 7 is one of my all time favorite groups. There is always plenty of of easy grooves and fun to be had from them.

I wish I could give it 10 stars. The singing, the writing, the musicianship, the arrangements, the production is beautiful. I’ve purchased many copies of this over the years and I give it as gifts for birthdays and holidays. Everyone who has received it has raved about it and it has become one of their favorites. It is a joyful piece of music. You will love it. I promise.

Classic “chill”
Good concept, bad manufacturing.
On thick nails, the two blades tend to get misaligned and end up one behind the other instead of staying perfectly on top of each other.

Really love this album, stand out tracks for me are In the waiting Line, Destiny and Give it away. The bonus CD has great live versions of Destiny and In the waiting Line also like the track Spinning
