I make a nettle infusions which steeps overnight. I cup of nettle to a quart mason jar of hot water. The next day I remove the nettle from the water and have a rich tea full of nutrients.

I bought this to reduce the shedding and thinning of the hair on my head, and it absolutely worked for me.For reference, I’m a late 30’s male with shoulder length hair, who has just recently seen an increase with this issue. I comb my hair every day before and after bed, and when drinking this tea daily, there has been a significant reduction in hair left in the comb afterwards (I clean it out every use so I know exactly what’s coming out each day.) If that’s what you’re looking for in nettle leaf tea, I recommend it. The instructions on the back said to use 1-3 teaspoons per 8 oz serving. I split it down the middle with 1.5 teaspoons per serving each morning. (I put 12 teaspoons into 64 oz of boiling water for a total of 8 servings kept in a glass jar in the fridge.)Taste was fine to me. I’m brand new to nettle tea, and felt it had a mild leafy flavor, nothing too strong or too weak. I drink it room temp or cold just for the health benefits, so taste isn’t a deciding factor for me personally.Some other reviews have stated issues with sediment/grit/dirt etc. I definitely noticed this too, and it’s what I knocked 1 star off for. If you drink it by itself, it’s not an issue; just rinse your mouth out after. I wouldn’t eat while drinking it, though, as you’d likely chomp on some tiny stones. This stuff is otherwise great, with the value for price being amazing, and it would have been 5-stars if not for the grit. I came back to buy more, in fact, and it’s out of stock. Maybe when it returns, the grit issue will have been addressed and I can amend the review. I hope so because I definitely plan on continued use.
