The old ones fell off a table and the headband snapped. Those old headphones had an annoying touch sensitive hidden volume slider in the ear cap. Those old ones had a micro-USB charging point that would only take the charging cable one way up, and felt fragile.Instead, these new headphones have simple + and - buttons, easy to feel while wearing.These new headphones have a USB-C charging port, and come with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.These new headphones do also include a case and an auxiliary cable to plug into a traditional headphone jack.One peculiarity: I tried to charge them before first use and the LED did not come on to show that they were charging. After I turned the headphones on, paired the via bluetooth, and turned them off again, the charging LED behaved as expecting, showing red while the headphones were charging. My guess is they have a special before-first-use mode to save the battery during shipping.Another peculiarity: the included auxiliary cable, for using the headphones plugged in, does not include a microphone - it is just a straight stereo cable. The old BT-600ANC came with a cable that had a microphone on it - stereo a tip and two bands where it plugs into the headphones and a tip and three bands where it plugs into the laptop. The new one with the BT-300ANC is just a tip and two bands at both ends. Note that the microphone-in-the-cord style works with the BT-300ANC, and cables like it are available separately.I'm happy with the fit and with the sound quality. Overall, these BT-300ANC are better and cheaper than the BT-600ANC ones I used to have.

I picked this set of headphones mostly based upon the rating in Consumer Reports. After using them for a while, including some airplane time, I've come to the conclusion that they are good enough but by no means great. I guess the real draw is that they are only $50 or so. I have other headphones I'd bought seven or eight years ago (look for reviews under my profile) that are just as good. One set, from IdeaPlay, sound as good or better and are much more comfortable for long time periods. Speaking of that, my main complaint with the Monoprice are that they squeeze your head too tightly. I didn't really notice it at first, but after an hour or two it becomes wearing.

When I purchased these I had used my buyers guide from Consumer Reports as they have never steered me wrong. These were rated among the highest that were 4 times the price and more. You need not go broke for awesome quality and this is just another case in which there is an option available to save you $200 and get the same quality of the highest quality earphones on the market. You’re going to be very surprised and satisfied at the quality and sound of these wireless earphones, and the money you saved can buy you an assortment of music with which to enjoy. The bass is thumping and the highs are piercing through with awesome clarity. The cord included offers the option to plug in directly to any device. The mini stereo plug included can be adapted to a larger size with an adapter easily purchased at any electronics outlet or here on Bolo. The set up and connectivity are simple and trouble free. The case and the assorted attachments make listening a matter of choice, and the noise cancellation is just perfect for staying aware of outside conditions should you choose. This is by far one of the best examples of a company providing the highest quality product at an affordable price for the average consumer. I told everyone I know about these earphones and only once did someone ask to compare them to his $300 Bose. I asked him to choose someone who we would blindfold and listen to both without knowledge of which was the $70 and $300 earphone. Not only did they barely notice a difference, and it wasn’t in sound it was in comfort and it was for the Monoprice. The Monoprice beat the Bose out on a blind test proving that not everything of the highest quality need be of the highest price! Save yourself some serious coin and although you can’t get them in red, blue, or purple they’re not going to be beat on sound and comfort. You will not be sorry you gave these earphones the chance to prove me true to my word, they’re absolutely amazing and for your money cannot be beat!

These are low-priced headphones, but they do what I need for listening to music from my iPhone. Bluetooth connection works well. Controls are easy to understand and to use. Noise cancellation is good enough, but I seldom use it. Battery life is remarkable! Some reviews say that other headsets offer better sound quality. For my purpose, sound quality is good enough. The price is great, so, all considered, great value.

Excellent sound quality with the AptX codec (way better than standard SBC, iPhones users will use AAC). Very comfortable. The battery lasts all day even with the noise cancelling on. A word about noise cancelling: lower you expectations. These are fantastic headphones at a budget price so expecting them to have the noise cancelling capabilities of a high end brand is foolish. That being said they easily block extraneous noises at home and all the talking in the office. They are fairly lightweight. They fit me perfectly, just snug enough to provide a good seal which is required for a good bass response in which these excel in. The high end is crisp but not overpowering or grating. They can be used as a Bluetooth or wired set; in fact they sound even better when plugged in. In my case they are frequently plugged into an LG phone with a high output Quad DAC which drives these with unbelievable clarity and power. I have over a dozen different types of headphones from cheapos to expensive (like 6 times the cost of these) and the Monoprice can hold their own. They are definitely a great buy.

Superb service from Monoprice
These headphones offer 90% of the performance of the two Bose sets I previously purchased (and wore out) but at 10% of the price. Kudos for an excellent product and a superb value.My set eventually would no longer pair with other Bluetooth devices. I complained to Monoprice and they responded immediately, saying that they'd replace them once they had new stock in hand. Sure enough, several months later, an email arrived saying the next batch had arrived and could I please send a copy of my Bolo invoice to verify my purchase. I sent them the invoice and a few hours later, they reported that my replacement headphones were on the way.Monoprice has been immediately and satisfactorily responsive by email throughout.I offer my highest possible recommendation for patronizing Monoprice.
