5.0 out of 5 stars Electric fuel pump for a lawn mower
This was the answer to my no fuel problem causing a no start issue. The mechanical fuel pump on my John Deere Z320R mower stopped pumping after 29 hours of operation. I replaced the fuel pump and it did not fix the issue. I then replaced the carburetor and it did not fix the issue. I then installed an electric fuel pump and was able to get fuel to the carburetor and the engine started. I do not know what is causing the pulse line to the mechanical fuel pump to not work. There is no vacuum on that line from the mechanical fuel pump to the inlet manifold. I did check the line for obstructions and found none. Its a mystery as of now but the electric fuel pump fixed the issue!

I bough this fuel transfer pump because I was tired of siphoning fuel. It hooks up to a 12 V battery and works well to transfer from one container to another. I is a little noisy and sounds like an aquarium pump, but I am not complaining since it does the job it was designed to do.

This has been working in my Suzuki Sidekick with Weber carb for several thousand miles now but the fuel PSI is higher than advertised at 4.5 to 5.0 PSI.

I bought to use when pumping out any small gas tanks and it works well a little slow but easy to use.

I had high hopes for this pump and it did work... 3 TIMES. That's how many times i mamage to cut my grass with it.THE BAD:It uses too much electric for what it is. It drops my voltage from 13v to about 12v ( while tractor running) and no other components connected. By itself on its own circuit connected to battery with switch.It ran 3 times, the last time it overheated so much, almost as hot as the engine block ( it's NEXT to it, open air) to the point that the fuel coming out of it was BOILING by the time it was going into the filter, half of stuff going into carb by now was fuel BUBBLES.I expected more from this, I chose this versus pulpe pump because of fuel volume flow.DISAPPOINTED.Will look somewhere else.Of course return window is closed :)

UPDATE; Received replacement pump and it still floods a bit initially after starting. I took the carb off and used a small drill to improve the brass needle seat seal and while it will overwhelm the needle valve/float, it is usable once running for a minute. It is certainly more than the stated pressure, however.There is no way that any float type carburetor could control just how much pressure this pump is pushing. It is far more than 4 PSI; I can barely stop the flow with my finger over the end of the outlet hose. I am going try to exchange it as I believe it may be defective, it never shuts off nor controls pressure to 4 PSI. Fills my air filter and runs out the back instantly at high flow. Maybe it has a check valve that isn't working? I'm not sure but I will update when I get a replacement. I never had any issue with my pulse pump and I removed the carb and the needle valve is working perfectly as I cannot overpower the needle valve with all the pressure I can muster with my mouth, which is more than 4 psi.
Little pump works hard.
Just needed a 12v pump to purge old gas from my boat fuel tank. Way easier than hand pumping for hours. Worked great and now I have one for next time.

Fuel pump works fine one Lincoln ranger 250 welder
This is the third small electric pump that I put on to my welding machine because the vacuum operated one sometimes didn't work each one of these small electric pumps that I bought didn't last very long and kind of noisyI saw this pump on Bolo for lots of different prices between $15 and $40 for the exact same pump what's up with that I bought the cheap one it works I bought an extra one because the small pumps eventually fail I think it's just too much work for them over time it's still a good solution for me as long as the price the pump is cheap enough it only takes a few minutes to change it out.. shipping was extremely fast here in Canada postal service is on strike and about to go bankrupt I wonder why the courier had this part to me a week faster than Canada Post would have I ordered often and they're extremely slow and bureaucratic bye-bye been nice knowing you Canada Post
