I need to monitor my blood pressure daily and as someone who has no medical training it is convenient and easy to use. Easy to set up with clear instructions. Comfortable cuff fit. Clear monitor display with large easy to read settings and a clear voice that tells you your readings. Additionally it monitors your heart beat and has memory storage so that you can keep track of your readings

I’ve never purchased anything like this before so I really didn’t know what to look for, but I’m so glad that I got this one. Also, I don’t know what “normal” blood pressure is, but this machine speaks to you and lets you know if your pressure is within normal range... taking the guess work out of it. Definitely recommend!

My first purchase of a pressure monitor.... has worked very well and I especially like the soothing music and voice readings, not that they are needed, just an extra...I purchased a second monitor of a different brand also. It works well but has no music or voice.. I am about to buy a third monitor to keep in the car and will purchase of the Paramed as we like it best.

After 2 other machines I purchased that did not work, this machine is perfect. I especially enjoy the results by a voice designed to explain the reading saying "normal" or "high". The size of this machine is perfect, and the case it comes in will keep your machine dust free.

I was a program coordinator for the American Heart Association and coordinated screening 36,000 people and set up 60 all-volunteer sites. I'm not a doctor so this is not medical advice. I just want to brag about this cuff. In the Heart Association we used to use manual sphygmomanometers (blood pressure cuff) and these automatic ones are brilliant. The problem is some are made better than others. In addition to the manual cuff I have three automated ones. I just sent back the number one seller currently here at Bolo which is $12 cheaper than this one and is probably the reason why it outsells this one, or maybe just because people haven't gone through testing both of these. I bought both of them, this is not a freebie trial.I sent the other one back because it was inaccurate. It was giving me readings that were 10 points higher than my other cuffs, and I knew it was way off the mark. High blood pressure runs in my family. I'm up in the years. So, getting readings of 108 diastolic (bottom number) on a bad day is a bit unnerving when my other cuffs are giving me 98. Thanks to Dr Fuhrman and his bestselling books, latest being "Eat for Life" my blood pressure has resolved itself, and runs normal a lot of the time. Then I have pizza, or high salt food and bang, I need the pill again. :-)Okay so why is this cuff so great? First and foremost, it is accurate. Secondly the other cuff gave you a verbal readout of the results that was so loud the neighbors across the street could hear it. :-) No way to adjust the volume. This cuff not only can you turn the speaker off, you also have the option to adjust the volume so low someone in the next room wouldn't hear it.I have a cuff that reads through a cell phone app. You have to boot up your cell phone to use it, and the common error of "measurement failed" happened a lot. Then the Velcro went on it so it would become unraveled in the middle of the test. The cuff has fabulous Velcro that is never going to do that. As a matter of fact, you have to really pull at it to undo it. That's great. It is so strong that a year from now you won't have to replace it.The video for the setup makes it really clear how to set it up with the date and time etc. for the first use. I also like that it is somewhat compact next to some of the others but not too small rendering it a hobby toy. The size is just right.By the way the other one, the best seller that doesn't really have a name other than its a cuff is one of those wrist jobs. If you don't have it all the way down close to the very edge of your wrist, you are also getting even higher wrong readings. This one is a full-sized cuff that goes around your upper arm. Just keep the tube area centered on your arm. Doctors and hospitals blood pressure cuffs go around the upper arm, not close to the wrist.So, this is a serious cuff, that is really accurate, at least the one I have, and I am assuming they are all that way. You will notice that the other cuff has twice as many 1-star reviews due to accuracy concerns. This cuff is down closer to the edge and a single digit for example it is a 3 or 4, next to the 8 on the other one.So, my advice is getting this one. After setting it up, and using it for the first time I was so impressed and loved the intelligent engineering of it, I gave it a kiss. :-) That is something I reserve for my favorite high-quality guitars when I am done playing them. Hope this helps.

Everything about this has exceeded my expectations
I live on the start of the Nullabor Plain, 9 hours drive from Adelaide, the nearest city. I ordered it at 1:00 am (drunk), I got a notification it had arrived at my PO Box 11:00 am same day. Which it had. That is not possible. And 10 hours is less than the 10 days they indicated.The unit itself is solid feeling plastic, nice big display, the cuff doesn't feel flimsy, I'm told that all of them are accurate to within 1 bpm and medically that is a meaningless difference so accuracy isn't an issue, it is extremely easy to use - stick your arm in the cuff, pull it tight, and hit the start button. It even says instructions out loud (which I could live without, so it isn't perfect) and in addition to the display info it speaks out the results, and then helpfully tells you that you have hypertension. Or not, I assume, for healthier people.And it was amazingly cheap.Now, if I could just get it to shut up ...
Good quality, easy to use product
When I opened up my parcel, the packaging of the blood pressure monitor looked very professional. I didn’t have to read much of the instructions to work out how to set the product up and get it to check my blood pressure. It did bother me a bit that I found some typos in the instruction manual, as well as a word that made no sense (‘contraindications’, which I later found is an actual word. I’d never heard it before.). That prompted me to check where the product was made. It was manufactured in China for a company in the US, so I would have expected the manual to be written better considering the company is not Chinese. I like that the product can record readings for two people. I also like that the product talks to you as it takes your blood pressure. The “person” is easy to understand and explains if your reading is good or not. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and it will be helpful for monitoring my blood pressure, as well as anyone else in my household.
Very good machine
The instructions are easy to read, so with the basics you can monitor your blood pressure and heart rate. The memory and two "user" mode are an asset (though to be honest, I believe, my wife would prefer a candlelight meal than a shared blood pressure reader).Greatest bonus is finding the mute button; there's something really goading about the cheerful American lady wishing me a happy life, and at the same time telling me the World Health Organisation would worry about me
Capable little device
Despite its small size and simplicity this device seems to work very well and is very easy to use. Once you get the arm band fitted correctly, it pumps up pretty fast and seems to give an accurate measurement. It works well on batteries but also plugs in via USB. It talks you through the process, but thankfully you can turn that off too.
