Bought this for my son's first year of High School. It's is very easy to operate. I had to show him how to use it to do his homework. The battery life is very resilient. This is a very good calculator for the lower price point. There were no other color choices other than black to choose from... but that is completely fine with us (myself & my son).

The casing is thin, the battery cover broke immediately, just taped it up, i am hoping to get 4 school years out of it, so we will see, the price is very good, pink is popular but if you are buying this for a student under the 9th grade i would say no.

This return is not a product problem I bought the wrong one myself, but the interface of this calculator is as clear as a tutorial, the keys are comfortable, and it is not a matter of effort to knock it out. It is a fact that the calculation speed is amazingly fast, complex operations are solved in seconds, the drawing function is intuitive and clear, and the function image is clear at a glance.

The overall quality is ok.Cover - The calculator cover doesn’t fit. It’s too big. It falls off which renders it useless. Can’t protect the calculator while in bag.Buttons - The buttons are loose and rattle which give it a cheap feel.Display - the display is ok.Directions - the directions towards how to use functions are quick, hasty, and require a lot of trial and error.Price - Great but it gets you marginal quality.Overall - it gets the job done.

Wow! What a great deal! I bought these for my high school daughter because I had already gotten the heads up that the expensive TI-83s and TI84s often walk off (aka get stolen), so I read many reviews and looked at all the calculator functions and found these calculators to be an exceptionally good price and well equipped to help her in honors geometry all the way through calculus. I have gone through complex statistics and multi variable calculus and found these calculators to have all the functions needed to help her through high school and college. The graphing function may not be as high tech but often excel is a better options for such needs especially in today’s tech driven world. The bonus is that I won’t have to run out in desperation if she loses one because it comes with a back up and also it is great that she can keep one at hime and one in her backpack for school so she will be accustomed to the use of one calculator instead of switching between brands. The other great part is one calculator did not work and Bolo quickly sent another double pack within two days. Bolo you rock! Hope this helps some other parents debating on whether the less expensive calculator is just as good and I say yes. Also this calculator is allowed for all standardized testing.
Not for graphing
Said it is a graphing calculator but cannot figure out how to graph with it. Got many math teachers to try and no one can figure it out

Not a bad calc. Little flimsy
The calculator works for what I need at a decent price. Its buttons are able to be read clearly etc and it gives the correct answers.Just two little things.1) the actual calculator seems rather flimsy. Like if an average weight adult steps on it they will break the casing which is not brilliant but I use it at home at my desk so no big deal but still -1 star.2) the supplied batteries came empty. I had to buy new batteries. That happens sometimes regardless of any products price point, so that didn't affect my rating. Was just a minor inconvenience.
There are better programmables around
Got this out of nostalgic curiosity for the days before use of calculators in schools shunted programmability to top end professional devices. AFAI can make out it is similar to the old Casio fx-6300g kit.Pleasant for taking me on a trip down memory lane but these days, if you want a programmable device, then I think you're better off getting a top-of-the-line model from one of Casio, HP, Sharp or TI. (I use an HP50g, which beats the pants off this Catiga offering.)It's minor saving grace is that it's probably the cheapest programmable you can buy.
