Probably not as strong as soy sauce, but definitely a lot healthier, whereas the sodium content is regarded. In the final taste test, it enhanced the Asian dish I was prepping. Neither thick, nor thing. Some amino acid products don't cut it, but this one...I'll be reordering.Nice big bottle for the price.
