I try to go for as long as I can without washing my hair (because apparently it’s good for your hair) but can never make it past 48 hours. Dry shampoo.. nothing works. I looked into it and saw that clarifying shampoos help with people who struggle with this and looked into different brands. (I also learned that people w/ oily hair just have to wash their hair more and it’s fine). Well this Aveeno clarifying shampoo w/ ACV seemed to have good reviews and it was affordable so I said, “why not.” I’m glad I did because this is my go to shampoo for the foreseeable future. It lathers so easily compared to other shampoos where I normally feel like I need so much product just to get it to lather. My hair finally feels squeeky clean after washing it with this shampoo. Also, I read some people don’t like the smell.. i personally like the scent. But to each their own on that one.

I really love this clarifying shampoo. I use it once a week to cleanse off all of my leave in conditioner build up. It cleans so well and smells really nice despite the apple cider vinegar. It combats my oily hair and gives me a clean slate.

My daughter has very thick hair. Over time, product buildup and excess oil can leave her hair looking dull and weighed down. The shampoo deep cleanses without stripping moisture, making it an ideal solution. I didn't give it all 5 stars due to the size; I would prefer a larger size with a pump. She tends to use too much or too little with the squeeze vs pump option.

Hooray! I finally found a shampoo that keeps my hair from getting oily. I only wash my hair 2 times a week and after 24 hours, it is usually a greasy hot mess and I have to use dry shampoo to try to stop it up. This shampoo leaves my hair soft and manageable and I can go the 3 days without washing it before it starts to get a little greasy. I could probably go 4 days. I LOVE this shampoo! I'm going to get the conditioner next.

I have hair that gets oily the day after washing, and it’s always been super hard for me to find a shampoo that works well with my hair. I thought that since this one was specifically made for people like me that’d i’d see a lot of progress. I’m a little disappointed though. My hairs perfect and just how I want it on wash day, but the day after it’s a bit odd feeling. It’s like it’s oily but…also not? If i’m looking at it in the mirror it doesn’t look like I need to wash it, it just looks a bit deflated, but if I touch it it feels weird. it’s like it’s not fully oily, and not fully clean. I have to use dry shampoo and a salt spray to get my hair looking like it did the day before, which was basically what I was doing before. At least it smells good.

This is my first time trying Aveeno's clarifying shampoo.I wanted to try something different and knowing how well apple cider vinegar works for cleaning all types of things it seemed like a no-brainer for a deep cleaning shampoo. I have long dry,frizzy, wavy hair.I have to straighten it with a hot iron starting with a generous amount of heat-protecting serum to prevent damage.After i'm finished styling my hair I use a quality hair serum for shine and keep the frizzies in place.This is a glimpse into what i'm dealing with. I wash my hair every 2 weeks using dry shampoo and more serum at the ends.As you can imagine after 2-2.1/2 weeks my hair is ready for a good wash to remove all that product without stripping the moisture. This shampoo is my #1 new favorite cleansing shampoo from here on out! It smells fabulous but not too strong and it has a nice soft lather that i LOVE in my shampoos.It's an extra special surprise coming from a clarifying shampoo.Many times they aren't very sudsy and my hair would have a dry-ish "squeaky clean" type texture after rinsing.This one was soft right after rinsing.Btw...as dirty as my hair gets I expected to have to wash it twice but it wasn't necessary. Once is all it took. Plus this bottle will last me forever since i only need it 2x a month.Coming from a life-long hair-wrangler i give it an A!!!
Seems to solve dry schalp problem

Great shampoo but damage bottle
Shampoo is good but this time I receive damages bottle. Shampoo and conditioner both of them damage.
Excellent for Fine Hair
Absolute game changer for fine hair.I have been on the look out for a good, clarifying shampoo for fine hair for years and after trying multiple brands I think Aveeno is the best one I have decided to settle in for..It is definitely on the pricier side for sure does the job of making weighed down hair feel fuller and livelier.
Clean and healthy
My hair actually feels clean and healthy using this. I use it with the conditioner too. It smells amazing and using both together, I don't need to wash my hair as often as I usually would.
