BG Syncro Shift II Full Synthetic Gear Lubricant is specially formulated for manual transmissions, transaxles, Haldex units, and transfer cases. It is a full synthetic API GL-4 gear lubricant blended to SAE 75W-80 viscosity to provide unmatched film strength and wear protection. It provides exceptional resistance to mechanical shearing, has excellent low-temperature fluidity, and is safe for all steel, brass, and copper alloys. BG Syncro Shift II may be effectively used in all vehicles where engine oil, ATF, or GL-4 gear oil is specified as “service fill” for manual transmissions.

My transmission was fine but I wanted to prevent future wear! I spent almost 200 dollars for this garbage that made my transmission start making noises and hard shifting that it was absolutely not doing before I put this in it!

Purchase a Boss 302 this summer from a previous owner, was never truly happy with the shifting, slightly notchy and some grinding particularly going into 3rd till warmed up. This winter when temps were below 45, the trans was very hard to shift into any gear when cold and ground so bad trying to go into 3rd, I had to skip that gear until it warmed up. Once warmed up, it was back to so so performance. Synchro Shift II was recommended as a first step to address the problems. The old fluid came out still looking golden with no noticeable metal in the fluid. Once the Synchro Shift was installed, the difference was dramatic. No more cold weather shifting problems (slightly stiff but not an issue at all) and the shifter is much smoother going into all gears, no more grinding at all going into 3rd. Could not believe the difference a fluid change made. It's like a new transmission was put in the car, highly recommended!
