These are delicious! And tender! They're so good, they're actually on par with making lentils myself. Lentils are so quick to make, I didn't really think of them as something I'd need/want pre-cooked, but I had such great experiences with other Fillo's pouches (my absolute favorite are the cuban black beans) that I decided to give them a try, and I'm so glad I did. I will absolutely keep these on hand. They're delicious straight out of the bag before heating. I have used them as taco filling, as a sort of vegan take on a sloppy joes (add some tomato paste and bbq sauce), in salads (delicious with arugula), and over baked potatoes. These would be great camping or as what I tend to call "emergency purse food" instead of a protein bar.

Delicious straight out of the bag at room temperature. Would make a great appetizer on crackers. Wonderful ingredients, tastes homemade to me.
