Finally the band is starting to crack where it goes into the metal clasp. But hey I got 5 years of daily wear out of it… I’m more surprised the band outlasted the watch.. No problem purchasing another.

Rugged is rightHad this for 4 years and wear it everyday and even in the Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America) on two vacations.See picture. This is four years of wear.I’d say I got my money’s worth and then some.I consider this in my top ten purchases of all time good. That includes my best drum kit and Harley DavidsonIf you buy this, rest assured you won’t regret it

Quality of band is nice, not too thick and not too thin. It’s easy to install the watch on the band. The design is that of a typical watch. It’s a rigid look on the outside and soft on the inside.

If you’re left handed, and wear your watch on your right wrist, the “rugged armor” and “shock resistant” words on the edges will be upside down. It’s not a big deal, but to some people it may be. Having worn this watch and case/band for 7 months straight, I can say I’m a little disappointed. The band doesn’t fully open up, so when you charge it, you have to lay it on its side. Also, the part that holds the watch in place is starting to break/degeade/crumble. To be fair, I am pretty rough; working on cars, landscaping, camping, and being outdoorsy, but I feel like a case called “tough armor” should hold up a little better

Best Protector So Far
I tried all the cheaper options watch bands and all either fell apart or didn’t fit very well. This one is excellent, fits really well and is nice and snug. I cracked the side of the screen on my watch and this thing is holding it all together and keeping water out of the cracked glass. Very happy with it and would buy again.

Apple-Watch im G-Shock-Stil
Nachdem ich absolut dazu neige teure Gadgets schnell zu verkratzen, habe ich mich entschieden meine Apple Watch in eine Schutzhülle mit Armband zu packen. Nach kurzer Suche bin ich hier auf die Rugged Armor Pro von Spigen gestoßen. Bestellung wurde innerhalb kürzester Zeit (<24h) geliefert. Die Verpackung ist angenehm klein. Beim ersten auspacken hat man - wie die anderen Rezensenten auch, eher einen Eindruck billiger Verarbeitung. Hat man aber erst einmal seine Apple-Watch in das Armband eingelegt, fühlt es sich insgesamt sehr nach G-Shock an. Für mich ein absoluter Pluspunkt, da ich sowieso auf so ein Design stehe. Nach dem ersten Tag am Arm - mit Sport, Arbeit, Kinderbetreuung, Hundebetreuung, Wetter etc. kann ich wirklich sagen, dass ich sehr zufrieden bin. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt einfach. Wie lange das Armband hält wird sich zeigen. Mein Eindruck bisher ist jedenfalls sehr positiv.
