Washing did take them back to their original snug size but as the day passes they loosen up again which is ok by me so I wear a belt with them. lots of pockets are big and loose to my legs as they are filled with stuff and a cell phone. Velcro hold is very good on that pocket keeping my phone from falling out.

I have ordered several pairs of these for husband who runs everyday. They are excellent if you want light material, thin and comfortable especially in hot weather. However the under crotch area will rub and and shred if you are a runner or do a lot of squat and stretch type stuff (like painters or other labor intensive work that has you in squat positions). They are a very comfortable short, the light weight material is super comfortable and the cargo pockets make them ideal. However, if you need a more robust working short that will last and last, then get something with thicker material. If you use these for sports or work, expect the fraying to happen in the under crotch area, its going to happen. But for this price and the comfort level, they are a good get for running or outdoor summer work but need replacing sooner then a thicker cargo short.

My hubby LOVES these shorts, and just asked me to buy 2 more pairs. He usually wears basketball shorts, so he’s used to having a lot of stretch and comfort. These are a very close second! Very stretchy, but sturdy breathable material. Squatting isn’t a problem. The pockets are great, and spacious, without looking weird.

Ordered four pairs of cargo pants on my purchase. The Wranglers were the only ones that did not have to be sent back due to fit of waist size. I guess you can still count on manufacturers that at least have served the market here for over 100 years. Just saying...

I bought two pairs of these. They are comfortable. They fit nicely and they are not long. If you don’t like if shorts stop right above the knee I don’t know if you would like them. The shorts made well with good thick quality material. Lots of pockets for when your wife/kids hand you things that they don’t want to hold lol. The waist of the shorts are stretchy so if you gain a little or eat too much. I think they look great. Very happy with this purchase.

Ordered 2 identical sets (different colors) and this one was not the same material for some reason. At first, it fit perfectly, but as the fabric relaxed they started to sag and droop; eventually they were so loose on me, I had to take them out of rotation. I’m a loose 38w year-round and these are the first shorts that re literally falling off my body!The other pair doesn’t do that…what’s the deal?Gave them away…
