It's a great product, light weight, use day and night. Absorbs quickly. Has several active ingredients for hyperpigmentation and gently brighten skin. Takes 6 weeks to see results - great for mild discoloration that's flat, evens out skin tone - apply on face, neck, chest. It's a watery texture so layer it before a vitamin C serum and moisturizer than sunscreen. I have used in past and loved and so happy to find it on Bolo.

I use the watery lotion first to hydrate my skin, apply Cosrx snail serum, and then the creamy lotion in the smaller bottle to seal the moisture. My husband has noticed my skin is brighter and my age spots on temples of my face are less noticeable. I will buy them again.

I bought the ROHTO Hadalabo Shirojun Premium Lotion since I had heard that it was very moisturizing and would be better than Rohto, Hada Labo, Gokujyun Hydrating Lotion for winter. I was extremely disappointed as the Rohto, Hada Labo, Gokujyun Hydrating Lotion is more hydrating and I usually use this product for summer as it is very shear and I do not require anything else. ROHTO Hadalabo Shirojun Premium Lotion does not hydrate at all. I do not see any benefits from this product.

5/2021: after using this product with other NIACINAMIDE PRODUCTS im having great results. .BTW I LOVE BOTH PRODUCTS. I also use the good molecules toner, AcZone 7.5%creme, and Drunk elephant Glycolic night serum and a mositurizer forPIH, Pics to follow.1/2021: Extremely happy there was an english translation over the japanese. While both bottles refer to "lotion" the smaller bottle was the thicker creamier consistency. Will update review once I've actually sampled the products

I’ve used a lot of Hada Labo hyaluronic acid products and used this during the dry winters. It felt a little stickier than the light blue/regular version, and it did moisturize a little more, but not by that much. I still had to layer this on 3-5 layers to get a fully hydrated effect. I go heavy on skincare at night and usually only use sunblock/tinted sunscreen (makeup only if I’m going somewhere special) in the mornings.I liked this product, it didn’t cause any irritation to my sensitive skin, helped add moisture, but it’s not a holy grail product.I find this to be a little difficult to fund in-stock in the US, and for a drug store brand/basic level product, it’s pretty costly.I prefer the Laneige Milk Skin to this essence for dry months, and the price is comparable. There are also lots of bi-phase essence products that come in much more elegant and easier to use spritz bottle for a similar priced, such as the d’Alba Forst Spray Serum. The Milk Skin comes in a find spray bottle too. For the price, I recommend opting for better performing products.
